Thats not how physics work! The sergeant grabbed Wolf, and Wolf grabbed the ledge. They both should have been saved by Chief pulling Wolf up! Oh well, no big loss.

You think Wolf O'Donnel is that strong? =P
I'm not really into Halo, but I didn't know that Master Chief were that strong. Or that his suit had extra power or something.
No .. I guess not .. Just the leader, you know ..

Yoshi watched the sergeant fell off the highway, open mouthed.

"Yoshi" he said with wide eyes, "Erm."

Yoshi felt terrible, but really hopped Samus would take charge.

He he. It was inevitable. That was part of why I made him such a deuch. I was going to see if anyone were going to rescue him over Wolf, even though he were an ass. I planned on having the next big attack on the missile result in that. It was mere coincidence that the next attack were yours =P

Samus ran over to Zelos. "Zelos, I've been looking all over for you!" She pointed at the things he had just hit "See those things over there? They're missiles. Thankfully, we won't need to worry about them, as we'll be over by this end. Come quick!" She grabbed Zelos' arm and led him over to their post. "We've got to take care of any troops that come this way. Use anything you can." she said, before preparing her gun for the upcoming potential horde.

Have been in London all day, had to be out the door 15 minutes after waking up and have only just got back.

The Chief saw Samus dragging some guy back to camp. Running up to them, he yelled "Sir, you are now the commanding officer of this camp. Orders?"

 

[Zombie_Fish]

Samus looked at the Master Chief, and decided firstly to state what was basic knowledge to the others by now. "Yeah, first of all, don't call me sir. Secondly, me and Zelos are guarding the west end. You have to go help the others at the north end from the missile attack. Try to help Sheik as much as possible with the guns as well. He's just learning and hasn't shot at moving targets up to this point. If you go over to the north post you can collect an M4 and a deagle for firepower. That okay for you?"

 

[Daye.04]

As Samus explained the Chief what to do, the soldiers' bullets finaly had an effect. They blew the rest of the gas in the missile. But this only resulted in the missile being delayed before hitting the base. It would hit the base in about five seconds. There was time for one last action, wich neither Samus, Zelos, Master Chief or any other at the west end had a chance to do.

Fine. Since non of you seem fit to post, I'll just move it along ....

As the missile crashed onto the highway, it opened itself. Panic was now everywhere. One headcrab jumped out of the missile, running towards the north end. One of the assasins were taken with her pants down, as she all of a sudden had a headcrab jumping her face. One of the soldiers were fast enough to shoot the headcrab. But it went through as well, and ended the life of one of the assasins. Another headcrab were right at the first headcrab's tail, and jumped the soldier who shot the first one. Luckily this soldier were aware of it, and dodged the jump. With that the headcrab flew off the highway, splatting on the ground below.

There was one more headcrap running from the missile. This one ran towards the west end of the highway. But the people on the west end had other problems as the horde had almost approached the minefield on the opposite side of were the protagonists on the west side stood. They were now able to see how they looked like [http://image.hazardstrip.com/ico/sprays/decoy_source_ct.gif], as well as take out the first few if they had long-ranged-weaponary

Samus looked at shock at the soldiers. They were... almost human. She decided to forget about it though, as she took out her plasma beam and started to fire away at the oncoming soldiers.

 

[MasterSqueak]

Grabbing an M4, the Chief fired at the horde of troops. He was interrupted by a blinking red dot behind him on his motion sensor, moving fast. Swinging around, he slammed the butt of his rifle into the oncoming headcrab, before turning to fire on the soldiers again.

Sheik shot his gun into the horde of enemies. Shooting at the moving targets was proving more difficult than he originally thought.

"This is nothing like shooting at a tree!!"

As the last bullet left the chamber he didn't know what to do. The short time he spent training with Samus he had learned how to shoot and nothing else.

"Dammit!"

Sheik threw the gun on the floor and grabbed his chain whip. He ran into the crowd of enemies but another soldier went ahead of him. The soldier stepped on what seemed like solid ground, but suddenly, a giant explosion could be seen and his lifeless body was sent hurdling into the sky. Sheik came to a sudden halt.

"Mines.."

Sheik wasn't going anywhere.

 

[Daye.04]

As the soldier stepped on the mine, and caused a huge explosion, the whole highways shaked. It shaked for some seconds before sinking ten cm. "Shit!" one of the soldiers started "This highway won't last a lot more of explosions like these"

They were down to two soldiers, one assasin and the protagonists with Samus as a leader. And they were supposed to take down an entire army of attackers.

"Missiles!" They heard a scream from the north end. There was missiles in the horizon. The explosive kind. They were far away now, but they're hitting in five minutes or so.

And just to top it all off. They didn't manage to kill too many of the attackers. It was obvious that they were trained personel, as the dodged most of the shots coming towards them. They were taken out in too slow intervals

"Well, this doesn't look good." Samus said to herself as she kept on fighting against the soldiers. She turned to look at the missiles heading towards them. "I need some people who can use guns. We need to get to the north post before those missiles get close enough to cause damage." she called out before running off, hoping that they'll be alright with the oncoming mass of soldiers.

Firing a last burst at the soldiers, the Chief followed after Samus.

"You go Samus, I'll take care of the soldiers," Zelos began gathering a lot of energy, the red energy forming a pool between the soldiers. "Eruption!" Zelos yelled as the earth seemed to split. A pool of magma opened beneath the soldiers, as many fell in screaming, Zelos fought to stay conscious. "No, I must continue to fight," Zelos said, drawing his sword and shield, and preparing for the soldier's arrival.

 

[Zombie_Fish]

"Sheik and Zelos, keep it up. We can win this. But we need to destroy those missiles, otherwise the highway won't stand." Samus called to Zelos, as she ran desperately towards the north end.
