hehe, nice.
Its sad people judge a show thats not out yet on a 48 second trailer.

Hopefully the show is good.
Exactly! What the hell was up with that? Only about thirty seconds was actual footage. I was planning on trying to defend it but Gary did that himself.

Good show. I'd tip my fedora to you if I hadn't lost it.
Yes, it's a mistake to judge something based on 30-40 seconds. Then why show those 30-40 seconds? Because it was meant to intrigue us and say, hey, look, watch me. And if it doesn't, it's a failed commercial. This 1 minute reply seems to have met with more success, but you could also argue for those of us that find it just as bland and unfunny that hey, don't judge it. It's not an actial episode!

We go to watch movies based on trailers. Sometimes, based on reviews or interviews. Sometimes, something else entirely. Something has to latch on and say, watch me. Otherwise, why should we waste our time? In an age of overstimulation, it's not simply 30-40 seconds. Or a minute reply. It represents the show and the mentality of the creator(s). They thought it was worth putting out, so it very much better represent what we're going to get in the show... otherwise, why did they put it out there?

Time is precious. Make it count. Anyway, I'm going to go finish watching this film I'm watching and then check out that episode of AP mentioned earlier.
That is almost too good an argument for me to argue. But I do like a challenge.

For some people it may have intrigued them. Now I'll admit the trailer may not have been up to much but I'm always willing to give such things a chance. I suppose it's the opposite of Yahtzee's "Guantanimo Bay" approach to games reviewing.

I do think the trailer could have done with being more continuous instead of trying to sell us on as much things as possible instead of focusing on just one or two things.

Makes one wonder though, maybe they anticipated a bad reaction and planned to counter with that response video.

Oh, wait, that's a stupid theory.

... Yeah I couldn't beat that argument. You see kids? This is what happens when you fail first year of College!

Hehe, very humurous.

EDIT:Though I'm shocked there was no mention of people complaining about the doggy boobies.
Hahaha someone complained about doggy boobies?

Closet Furry > right there.
Yea it is "closet furry" right there on the animator's part. WTF is in your head if you're making a dog into some kind of a sex symbol. There are personalized dogs with normal shape just walking on 2 limbs, having lip movements and there are dogs with boobs. They're directing this to us, the target audience, it's just really wrong and i object too. Why the female dog needs tits, they're not even in the proper place for dogs, no one's showing the male dog's cock to justify it's gender, there are other means of doing it, so should apply to females.

A, dog boobies, who cares? There have been far more crude things in animation and life. Just look at the Fritz the Cat movies as one small example.

(Potential spoilers)
B, watched the episode of Apocalypse Lane. The beginning had moments of sort of funny, with the president guy and his rubber ducky... but then it goes to the rest of the cast of characters in a store talking about kazoo cat along with a psychopathic bird. Was anything beyond the intro supposed to be funny? If so, then I just don't get it.

I swear the escapist has some twisted view on what's funny, because that wasn't funny at all. Ready to see this series tank.

This was pretty damn funny over the trailer, and now its kinda cool. No problem with it at all now, anyways the trailer had to much jokes in disguise that some would have difficulty picking up, but blatant humour like that is easier to laugh at.

Heh, that's ironic. He responds to the hate received from the rather unfunny trailer, and this ends up not being half bad. I'll give it a shot.

Can we all agree assuming a series will be good or bad from a fucking trailer is ignorant?
We've been given almost nothing to assume judgment on, get your heads out your asses.
And at what point did furry and anthropomorphic become the same thing?

...incidentally, I'm looking forward to the premier. Just remember, Apocalypse Lane took four episodes to get to the point where it was watchable and after that, it got really good.

And just to show I'm a good sport and as ignorantly ironic as anyone else here, I'm looking forward to seeing a character based on a Chinese Crested.

I think it needs to be made clear why the dog theme is necessary though, as I think that's where most of the skepticism is coming from, in my opinion.

EDIT: Here's a way to sum up my point in a quote from Yahtzee... (please don't rape me for quoting Yahtzee, I know it's lame and cliche and makes me look like super-nerd, but I think it's appropriate for this)

"Never stick your dick in a pudding. It might still be good pudding and you can spend all afternoon explaining that, but no one will eat it, because you stuck your dick in it!"

Just as shallow, dull and humorless as the trailer. It actually seems rather pathetic, trying to justify their terrible writing and animation not a week after the thing was released. Seems like this would work better as a webcomic, seeing as there's whiny drama and unfunny jokes abound.

TOTALLY worth canning Urealms.
Yes!

p.s. plz for the love of god get over the 'furry' thing, it doesnt effect the show whatsoever. seriously everyone bashin them for that is really annoying... noth'n rong w/ it.
