I am dismayed. Unforgotten Realms gets canned and the two animated shows that spring up are Apocalypse Lane (I watched the first few episodes, couldn't stand to watch anymore. Beyond terrible show.) and this, which looks as bland as can be (I've watched both the trailer and this 'response' thing, and nothing's showing any promise).

This is my first post and yeah, it's to gripe, but it really bites about Unforgotten Realms. Just a very funny, funny show that I started at the beginning of its second season, caught up, and watched each week with relish. And now not one, but two animated shows spring up with nothing worth watching on them.

Don't get me wrong, I love Zero Punctuation (I originally discovered the site because of Yahtzee and his wonderful adventure games), and I enjoy Bob's movie reviews and Unskippable is usually pretty funny... There Will be Brawl was also an interesting experiment. So I guess I'll just stick with those shows... It's just sad that more lackluster animated shows are funded when a good animated show was canned.

End rant.
You have got to be kidding me. The last season was shit. You just can't give up on a series because of the first few episodes, and don't knock it till ya try it.

Apocalypse Lane: Sure the first few episodes sucked, but as it went on, it became great! The story is full of plot twists (literally a lot of plot twists) The character are just funny as hell. and the most important part, IT HAS A FLYING TALKING ROOSTER! how do you not turn that down.
Game dogs: It is so funny how people like you criticize this by only watching a few clips. Like I said, Don't knock it till ya try it. If you don't like it then it isn't for you. But at least give if 5 episodes. Don't say it sucks by the trailer and the 1 minute short film.

These are probably things you are going to want to learn if you are going to rant on things, other wise you are seen as a troll. No matter how tall you are.

ah yes, watch as the fertile beast comes out from the bridge. Stand back! Stand back! don't make any videos near them, they will hurt your feeling quickly.

Hmmm, he sounds maaaad... though honestly, I'd probably be a hint upset if I was him reading what was on those comments... eesh.

Anywho, I'll admit, I found it a bit funnier than the advertisement itself.

At first I thought it looked a bit... how you say... Creepy?

I can never look at anthropomorphic animals without visions of a few horrible images I once saw involving them.

But this made me chuckle.

come on all I hear is that was hilarious or I hope the series falls down a deep dark hole and lands anus-first on some rusty spikes. You're judging from what amounts to half an episode timewise. You don't know how it'll go from there. AL was crap the first few episodes and now think of all the hilarity we would have lost, if no-one gave it a chance. I admit both trailers weren't that good, but they weren't s**t either.
So give it a chance and check it out.
And everybody who thinks that everything was perfect, you can only be dissappointed from here on out. Tone it down a notch. maybe it's not as good as you hoped but maybe it'll be better than you expected

That was actually a little funny, got me to giggle a bit. But I'm still a little hesitant on whether it will be good or not so we'll just have to wait and see.

I lol'd, that was funnier than the trailer. Hopefully the show will be good but if not this website still has plenty of other stuff to keep me amused at work.

A, dog boobies, who cares? There have been far more crude things in animation and life. Just look at the Fritz the Cat movies as one small example.

(Potential spoilers)
B, watched the episode of Apocalypse Lane. The beginning had moments of sort of funny, with the president guy and his rubber ducky... but then it goes to the rest of the cast of characters in a store talking about kazoo cat along with a psychopathic bird. Was anything beyond the intro supposed to be funny? If so, then I just don't get it.
Alright, i was reading your comments LordHoban... and i think you are just a very dull humourless person. Nothing you have said has been witty or funny rather its been whinny and graiting. It seems like you got some grudge because UR became god awful and got axed.

I loved UR and then it became that wierd uncle... who used to be cool and now your just like no... leave me alone please.

Apocolypse Lane is good and entertaining, it has continued to be so. I never came to escapist expecting to find a Always Sunny In Philidelphia or Family Guy but i get a kick non-the-less.

Ah... feels better. I didnt get the trailer of the Game Dogz... this i was amused. Hope it continues to get better.

I'm quite honestly shocked that all the questions weren't about furries.
Just most of them, amirite?

though with all due respect, game dogs will make furries out of many of it's viewers, thanks to the creator of this series, the girl dog is stuck in my head! since this hasn't happened in a while, i find it as a compliment

Can we all agree assuming a series will be good or bad from a fucking trailer is ignorant?
Thank you.

I'd also like to say that there's a lot of complaining about this show in relation to others, along the tune of, "Oh, this will be utter dumbgay, X is so much better, this will be terrible like Y". This strikes me as rather counter-progressive thinking. It's like TV. You don't have to watch every show on a given TV channel. It is possible to just watch the shows you like. And demanding that every show meets your personal standards of quality propels you right into Jerkassville, with it's lovely scenic hotspots and my eternal hatred.

This is showing more promise, especially considering you must have had to whip this up in only a couple of days.

Lawl i was one of the people that pointed out the furryness of this show haha! But you cant deny the fact that this show is pure furry orgasmic! The dog tits are just the icing on the cake! Very funny tho i found that to be 100000000000000000000000000000000000000X more amusing than the trailer i suppose just about thing is.. Watching a rock slowly dissolve in a puddle would probably be more fun than that trailer..

Okay, so the trailer did not grab my attention, and this video just bored me.

Yes, I know I shouldn't judge based on a trailer and a... trailer companion video? But the point of a trailer is to get me interested in the show, and not only has it not done that, but its follow-up video has done even less.

When I saw the title card, I was genuinely intrigued. Sounded kind of obvious, but in a good way, like "why haven't we seen anything like this, yet?" (unless you count VGCats, but that's a webcomic about cats who play games, not dogs who make them). However, what I've seen so far just tells me that the good idea is not going to receive a good execution.

I'll still watch the first episode, but probably not when it goes online. I'll catch it sometime later.
