Lord Beautiful said:Had Batman dragged Joker's carcass by the cloth of his collar out of the building as opposed to carrying him lovingly in his arms, I would have thought far better of it. He's a murderous, remorseless psychopath who does not deserve the reverence he receives. He's exceedingly well characterized by both the writing and the acting, certainly, but his death is not a tragedy; it is a blessing.
I felt it was representative of the Joker's theory that they need one another. There's certainly a sense of weariness and 'knowing' (as in, he was closest to him of all the villains) in their final conversation, specifically when Batman says "You know what's funny?". I guess it also shows him to be a bigger Boss-Man. Dragging him by the neck is what the Joker would do if it were the other way around.
I finished it this afternoon and really liked it.
At the very least, you have to give credit for them writing a somewhat bold story; Asylum's was just standard-fare.
OT: A lot will probably complain about Human Revolution's ending and, whilst it was certainly inelegant, most people will be missing the point.
We know what eventually happens - what matters is your choice, because your choice is you giving your final verdict on the debate that's been put in front of you for the past 30-40 hours worth of game. Whether Eliza and Adam's predictions come true or not is entirely irrelevant.
Most recently for me would probably be Dragon Age 2. L to the A to the Z to the Y sequel-bait. Not to mention...
... Leilana appearing and saying there must be a connection between my Warden and Hawke both disappearing. Slight problem: MY WARDEN DIED, DIP SHIT.
