Indeed I did. However, it's important to note that just because she's a Rand fan doesn't mean she's objectivist. She likes the books, but still thinks the ideologies a little bit whacked.Sahasrahla said:Wait... You got a Rand fan into a game that's essentially built on the untenable nature and inevitable failure of Randian Objectivism? OT: The Katamari games are good, as are puzzle-based games like Bejeweled (or Puzzle Quest if she likes a bit o' narrative), Peggle, Fat Princess, the Maw, Braid, Flower, or various other Pop Cap games like Plants vs. Zombies, Zuma or Bookworm. She might also like the LEGO universe games, or some E-rated platformers like Psychonauts, Spyro, or Jak & Daxter.
Apologies for anything already listed.
Yes sadly, thats the only thing she has access toSusan Arendt said:Folklore is a wonderful choice. The aesthetics in that game are simply wonderful.
Now, are we limited to PS3 choices?
Ah, OK. Usually when I hear someone refer to themselves as a 'fan' of Ayn Rand it's followed by something to the effect of "OMG all teh wurldz problemz wud be fixed if we jus' stop given helpz to poor peeple and work for ousselfz!" Until you want to beat them about the head with a thick treatise on social conscience.bassdrum said:Indeed I did. Jesus christ hit her over the head with games why dontcha. No to offend, but you want to start new people off with easy stuff. Final Fantasy has all these numbers and elements and monsters and a lot of fights are a lot more than constantly attackig and spamming potions.iggyus said:I am thinking either Final Fantasy 13 when it comes out or Folklore since both are more artistic and focused on story but I would be grateful for your opinions.
DDR, bitches love that shit, it's like crackiggyus said:Hey guys! My girlfriend recently got into gaming. She's been playing Little Big Planet and games from PSN Store on her brother's PS3 and she would like to get more into gaming. However, she is the sensitive, artistic type and does not like shooters or too violent games. I promised her I would get something and I don't know what exactly. I am thinking either Final Fantasy 13 when it comes out or Folklore since both are more artistic and focused on story but I would be grateful for your opinions.
I love how violence is determined by blood content, not how many "heartless" I bludgeoned to death in the game XDThe Anhk24 said:hmmm maybe kingdom hearts, after all its Disney so its not too violent, oh and i know some girl gamers who love the sims series, so maybe your girl would like that too
