Call of Duty...
All I can do is hope they go back to the way it was int the time of CoD2 (or even CoD1).
That means no perks and less and slower automatic weapons. (2 per side max, though preferably none at all)
More none automatic /semi-automatic rifles with a heavy recoil.
No more shooting through walls.
And no unlockable weapons (unless it are the standard weapons with only aesthetic changes, like a different skin)
Also no more killstreak stuff.

Well, that's quite a lot that's needed for me to regain interest in CoD...

A selection of childhood favourites, once they hit the PS2 I lost all love for Spyro, Rayman and Crash Bandicoot.
Sadly I agree with this. I can play the old PS1 games no problem. However, the new ones have lost the appeal that the old ones have.

A lot:

Resident Evil seems to be getting worse, Nemesis was alright, hated 4 and didn't bother with 5 after the demo.

Sonic, the poor thing is just being abused now.

Civilisation just doesn't grip me like it used to.

SmackDown vs RAW is genuinly damned awful now, with the developers seemingly not knowing their target audiance, HCTP is still my favourite Smackdown game of all time.

Total War, Rome seemed really good but lacked a certain something, and this has gotten more and more apparent with every release after.

I could probably go on, but the brains under a lot of duress at the moment

Any Nintendo franchise, seriously why they are still making 2D games ?!

Call of Duty, to me the franchise died with MW2.

Sonic, and 2D platformers in general (though the new Donkey Kong looks challenging enough to hold my interest). 2D platformers are being so overdone at the moment. Let's get back to more 3D ones. And I guess you could say Shadowrun. The SNES game was amazing and still holds up today. It is the perfect kind of game for BioWare to bring back. But the one released a few years ago was a farce.

I'm getting bored with Team Fortress 2, only playing a couple times a month maybe.

Other than those, I generally still love a lot of the same old series. New Zelda games still make me feel like an excited little kid. The Mario Galaxy series has some of the most creative platforming puzzles that never get old to me.

Maybe because people still like 2D games? The New Super Mario Bros games have outsold the Galaxy games despite the Galaxy games being the better games

OT:Have to go with GTA.While I was never a huge fan of the series I played and enjoyed them all until 4 came along. It bored me so much I still haven't finished it.If that's the direction the series is taking then I'm done

Sonic and Crash Bandicoot probably, two series' I used to love as a child as I grew older not only did the premise of the games get less appealing but largely the quality of the games. I'd probably find more enjoyment playing Crash 3 and Sonic 3 then I would their most recent incarnations.

I was well into Zelda for a while also during the time Wind Waker came out and ended up getting stuff like Minish cap and the previous games (which I enjoyed alot) but for whatever reason when Twilight Princess came about I just didn't feel like getting it and since then haven't followed the sereis much

Blizzard games.

Not much to say, but with Kotick controlling them, they've forgotten how to let people have fun with their games and just... yeah...

Final Fantasy.

Screw you Square. I have no clue why you pushed that piece of shit when Star Ocean and Nier were both better.

Res Evil- I have no more interest. I followed this series proudly for years. Than 5 came along and shit in my mouth

Before I list them, understand that it's not because games are BAD (at least not always), it's more because it's more of the same, or has gone from being about the singleplayer story-driven mode to being all(or nearly all) about the multiplayer aspect... so it's apathy and disinterest rather than "oh noes game X is bad I hate it". Mostly.

Command and conquer. Loved every single C&C (even post-westwood titles had redeeming features-easily moddable being the main one)...
Lost interest when I played through the soviet campaign in RA3, it was just too cheesy. Haven't bothered with C&C4, probably never will.

Call of Duty. Played the 1st, 2nd and 4th and loved them. Still do in fact :p
Got bored with the 3rd, to the point of giving up halfway through... Same with 5 and 6. Not even bothering with 7.

Halo. Combat Evolved was brilliant, and it went mostly downhill from there. 3 was pretty good though. As was reach, but I'd already given up by then. It was more a case of "played all the others and read all the books up to that point, may as well play through this one too"

Empire Earth. The third one tried too hard to be like C&Cgenerals. Why play that when Generals is better (modded)

Oh, and mario(after64)/sonic(after megadrive pretty much). Tomb raider(after 3). Mortal Kombat (deadly alliance was the last decent one imo). Tekken (post-4). Metal gear solid (after 2). Fable (after lost chapters), God of War (2 and 3 were meh, and it got ripped off too much), onimusha (after the first 3). Gran Turismo (after 2).
Yeah ok so there's a lot. I just think I'm extremely picky, and my fussiness is based on the most arbitrary, nitpicky things which may or may not change from game to game...

I used to be a big call of duty fan, but after modern warfare 2 I felt that there was no soul to it and all the once epic shoot-outs had become very very dull. I guess thats why I'm not going to get Black Ops.
Exactly this. Oh, and Resident Evil. 4 was fantastic, and then someone on the design team got drunk and over-did it with 5.

Probably Kingdom Hearts. It's been quite a few years since KH2 came out and a console sequel has yet to be announced. And I'm clearly not interested in most of the handheld games. Even though Birth by Sleep does seem intriguing, chances are, I may not get it.

Also God of War. I still think the games are great, but after GOW3, The series has become kind of stale to me.

Final Fantasy after XIII, I tried so hard to play through and enjoy that game but just couldn't get into it at all, a tutorial that lasts over 20 hours is just a joke. Also the Halo series after 3, no real reason for this one I just slowly stopped caring about it, although it was probably due to the campaign being quite poor compared to the 1st two games.

Too many to name, though not "All of them". Not yet.

-Warcraft
-First Person Shooters
-Anything put out by Squeenix (Square-Enix)
-Anything Mario-centric (since the Paper-Mario series is apparently coming to a close)

World of Warcraft. It's the most boring, grindtastic, repetitive piece of crap I've ever wasted my time on. But, then, it is an MMO, so I guess I won't blame Blizzard for that, since they are coming out with another Diablo.
