Shooters I guess. I usually play them on medium, and can't really get through hard. Actually, come to think of it, the only games I can really beat on the hardest settings are the Tony Hawk games...

RTS. I suck at RTS, and when I'm actually challenged I tend to get stressed out and impatient. I have no tactical intelligence or strategic insight, and being such a nerd that I roleplay even when playing non-RPGs, I value the lives of each little dude I've got and don't want to send them to their deaths, so instead I spend the entire game doing research to make my guys the best little dudes they can be, up until someone rolls into my base with a bunch of zerglings and lays waste to it.

And yet every time I see a new Command & Conquer or Total War game, I squee a little bit.

Mostly FPS, I can get through the single player fine but I get my ass handed to me in multi player.

I also kinda of suck at turn based stratgy specfically Fire Emblem I always put units in bad postions and get them killed and end up starting over so I can keep all my units.

Strategy and Fighting.

Strategy games require too much focus and intensity for me to be any good at. Example: The hard AIs in Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance always kick my ass, unless I'm really REALLY trying. I can only imagine how hard I'd lose to the cheating AIs.

Fighting games are like playing a musical instrument, requiring precise timing, coordination, and memory. If I was good at that sort of thing, I would probably just play musical instruments instead.

Still, they're a lot of fun to play.

I must be the only one who sucks at turn based stuff, or stat levelling. I never know how to properly optimise stats and stuff. I like hittin' stuff, or jumpin. And I suck at call of duty, but I'm pretty good at team fortress 2, so it depends on the shooter a lot. I'm terrible at most racing games but am a god at f-zero or mario kart. I like contradictions!

RTS games, no matter how i plan it out in my head something always goes bloody wrong and i have to resort to the old fashioned "make a million turrets so nothing can even get close to my base" defense :/

Everything really. But fighting games and 2D shooters get a special place. I'm a seasoned Street Fighter player who's owned just about every one since the 32bit era and I'm still terrible at them compared to others. But damn, they're so fun.

Fighting games...I used to be the King, but now I get laid waste too...it's so sad, but then again, I'm now an "all-rounder" in games, so I guess there's a plus out of dropping my obsession.

Also football (soccer...as much as it pains me to type it) games.

Gonna have to go with RTS, I'm not so horrible that I get crushed every time but I don't usually win either.

Fighting games are always fun to play with friends, mostly because no one knows how to do anything cool, which just makes it more fun when someone manages to do something awesome. Dead or Alivemarvel vs. Capcom 2 is the best for this in my opinion.

I suck at the Simcity/Civilization spectrum of games (you know the ones), yet I play them anyway. Never online, I just get my ass handed to me.

Galactic Civilizations II Civilization 4 is the best a dandy example.
yeah a good games a good game, doesn't matter how good I am at a good game it's still a good game, a good game to play, without being good at. XD

Action Adventure

I'm good at the action part. But I'm a shit navigator, and god help me if they put puzzles in it.

The zelda water temples give me nightmares from which I can never recover.
