So you have played Total War: Warhammer and never noticed that Karl Franz wields that Hammer? I guess you must have only played as the Greenskins and never touched the Empire or even faced the Empire as the Greenskins.
That's right. I only played twice, once as Greenskins and once as Wood Elves.

I never looked at Karl Franz's weapon. Why would I? Zooming in that close just means I can't see what's going on.

Hell, I'm not sure I ever even saw him in an actual battle. I usually just assassinate every enemy lord and hero on the campaign map as soon as I see them.

So it's his hammer then?

Umm... okay. Glad we could get that sorted out.

Yeah I apologize I thought you trolling me when you said "Which Game?" when I know you have played Total War Warhammer so I thought I make fun of it a troll you back, but I mean no offense and I apoligize.

But as to the Hammer, it was made the Dwarfs and given to the founder of the Empire, Sigmar, as a gift for saving thier High King Kurgan Ironbeard and the Empire treasured it ever since. So the Hammer is a Dwarfen craft, so blame them for thier apperently shitty weapons design.

I believe the proper thing to do is blame Games Workshop for their design, since said Dwarfs are figments of their imagination. Because really, any time we talk about design choices in media that bugs us it tends to be because of the Doylist implications. Very seldom do I see someone strike up a conversation like: "What fashionista in Westeros thought it was a good idea to dress Sansa Stark all in black and give her some weird looking slave-chain ornament as a necklace?".

Which brings me to my actual point about GoT: Are the costume designers on GoT really this bad? When the show started you could easily tell Cersei, Dany and Sansa apart based on the way they dressed alone. But for the last 1,5 season or so the prevailing fashion among all three of them is black, full covering, full length dresses with metal ornaments near the neck and shoulders (Dany's dragons heads and Sansa's weird slave collar thing being the most obvious).
Has the costume design team been switched out or has the art direction been this fucked up?

Why doesn't Daenerys just attack Kings Landing now that the Lannister army is destroyed?
A lot of other very good questions there, which deserve answers from the showrunners. This one, at least, has been covered, though; Daenerys was strongly considering doing just that and assaulting King's Landing an episode or two ago, but her advisers talked her out of it, on the grounds that using dragons in such an attack would have too many civilian casualties, and that it would ruin her claim to be better than their past rulers if she went ahead with it.

I don't think she really needs the dragons at this point, Cersei can't have that many soldiers left. On the other hand, the Golden Company has been mentioned, so I guess that they'll teleport into Kings Landing next week.

She doesn't need the dragons, you're right, but the only way she'd have a force large enough to penetrate the capitol is if she used primarily the unsullied and dothraki, especially now that the tyrells and ironborn have been wiped out. Using a foreign army to claim her throne would also damage her PR with the small folk, so she's trying to avoid that scenario, as well.

Though her hesitance there is a great deal more silly than with the dragons. Sure she'd lose a lot of popular support if she won her throne with outsiders, but once she had her crown she'd have all the time in the world to win the people over, at least her foreign army could be ordered to keep casualties minimal, unlike her dragon's fire

So I watched the leaked episode. On a side note, what the hell is up with all these leaks? You'd think HBO would sort it out.

Well, anyway.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? Ya know, I've done my fair share of complaining but couldn't imagine how fucking low they'd manage to sink. That was, without a doubt, the worst episode of GOT ever.

For a start, who did they hire to write the conversations? A handicapped 12 year old? Just look at it! Its bad and makes no sense at all. Worst offender being Arya and Sansa.

Arya: You betrayed our house blablabla I'm an edgy anime character blablabla I saw you standing on the platform when father was beheaded
Sansa: Right, so surely you remember I was screaming for them to stop and that they had to hold me back because I was trying to get to Ned?
Arya: ...Well uh anyway, I'd rather die than do anything the Lannisters tell me, unlike you, *****!
Sansa: Right, like that time you spent weeks serving Tywin Lannister, pouring him wine, scrubbing his chamber pot, having nice conversations with him, all without once making an attempt on his life?
Arya: ...

This entire storyline is just fucking pointless and awkward. Pointless because, real talk, Arya will not kill Sansa and Sansa will not kill Arya; awkward because their actresses cannot pull it off. And by the way, why does Arya randomly flip in and out of "psycho fanfic" mode? She wasn't like this when she came to Winterfell. Split personality?

And then theres all that shit beyond the wall. Just shut the fuck up and get to the point, nobody fucking cares abour your lazy attempts to fix the massive inconsistencies and holes in your story in 2 sentences. We're not buying it. And Tormund and the Hound. Oh God.

Hound: I bet you like COCKS
Tormund: DICKS????
H: COCK DICK COCKS
T: I LIKE DICK PUSSY
H: **** FUCK **** FUCK FUCK FUCKING CUNTS
D&D: Wow this is great writing

Whats the point???? No, seriously, what is the actual point of this conversation? What about this dialogue is in any way good enough or important enough to show on screen? And what was the goddamn point of that entire bloody storyline with the hound surviving and his community being killed and him joining the brotherhood and having a vision and regretting past deeds and whatever... When all it amounts to is him being scared of fire AGAIN (wow we haven't seen this one before, D&D please include another 5 scenes of this happening next episode, it wasn't dramatic enough the first 300000 fucking times) and calling everyone a ****?

And that entire thing on the lake. I'm done. Do they seriously want me to believe that Gendry ran back to the wall, after which a raven flew all the way from the wall down to Dragonstone, after which Dany flew the entire way from Dragonstone past the wall to that lake in the span of like 3 days? I've given them some leeway before concerning teleporting characters and what not but thats too much. And it would be so easy to fix as well!

Dany: I haven't recieved a letter yet but my pussies really wet for Jun Snuw so I'm gonna fly up to Castle Black and see if they're back yet. (At castle black) Wow Gendry just got here and told me everything, lets go boys!

Fixed. That took me 15 seconds, requires no extra budget, it shouldn't be any harder to film - why don't they just do this? Laziness or incompetence?

Fine, the dragon dying plucked the heart strings a bit, but thats it. Everything else was complete trash. That fight was bullshit. There is zero fucking tension - no one important died and their plot armor is just highlighted by the random no names around them being slaughtered. I've seen better episodes of Eastenders. Usually we could at least be a tiny little bit excited about an undead ice dragon tearing shit up - but its D&D, so it will probably culminate in the hound calling it a **** while Tormund gives us a detailed, 3 minute long description of its penis.
Did you watch the whole thing in its entirety or just watched the multiple clips of it on youtube?

The whole thing - on Youtube though, funnily enough. HBO are really aggressive about taking down leaked episodes but I have my ways to find fresh links. The one I watched was private and probably taken down like 5 minutes after I loaded it.
So you have no comment on the clearly forced and rushed Romance between Jon and Dany?

I don't hate it as much as I should. Dany's actress is best when she's not required to act subtle so anything that lets her show unfiltered emotion will make her more tolerable.

And when you think about it, they were on Dragonstone together with nothing to do for weeks, more than enough time to fall in love - problem is instead of giving us like 3 more scenes of them talking we got this shitty Winterfell storyline no one wants to see. So now it does feel rushed even though it shouldn't. Its bad I guess? But in comparison to the rest of the episode its Oscar material. Kit Harrington looks like Daniel-Day Lewis when you put him next to Maesie Williams.

Anyway, wheres that guy who was doubting my prediction that Dany and Jon were gonna fuck this season? My boy King of the Gormless is gonna show his incredible oral skills on that dragon pussy next episode, no doubt about it.

Now that I think about it Danys vagina is probably haunted thanks to her blood magic baby sacrifice abortion. Maybe Jon shouldn't put his face near there.
And fuck it, since you clearly don't care anymore about what's gonna happen next episode, the both of them will fuck in the end. Another chance to see Dany's fake CGI naked Body and Jon Snow's hairless Abs and Chest (I swear Jon grow some hair on that chest like a proper man, not some Underwear model :p)

Everything about Jon Snow as a character makes many times more sense if you approach it from the perspective that he's secretly the main character of a shonen anime.

Related to eeeeeeveryone who's important, entrusted with ridiculous authority at a ridiculously young age (lest we forget he was only three-quarters to 20 when he became lord commander of the night's watch), allergic to death and apparently chosen for greatness by destiny (Well, admittedly the whole "chosen one" schtick is way more of a western thing than an anime thing, but still) Why wouldn't all the ladies in his life wanna jump his bones? It's just a shame that GoT's high mortality rate means he can't unlock the harem ending.

...although, given Japan's ideas regarding cute little sisters, the "secret shonen hero" theory does cast Arya's bond with him in a very questionable light... eck, actually nevermind. I take it all back. All of it. burn it all. This must be how the mad king felt.

People say there is no good or evil in this series, than explain House Bolton?

A Noble Family of leechers of blood and flayers of Human Skin, their lord is known for being a Rapist, their fortress is called the Dreadfort, their sigil is a flayed man and of course what can be said about Ramsey that hasn't been said?

How are they not obviously evil and heck in the Books Roose Bolton's book incarnation looks more like a villain than the actor who portrayed him:

Why is it that every time Jon Snow meets a Woman they all want to jump on his dick? Ygritte, Melisandre and soon Dany?
YgrittexJon was well developed. They meet in season 2 as enemies, season 3 is spent cultivating their relationship, and season 4 shows the fallout of that relationship, and Jon's infatuation with a wildling alienates some members of the Night's Watch from him in season 5. The writers took their time with it. As for Melisandre, she tries to seduce pretty much any man she comes across - Jon isn't atypical there as far as I can see, and like men like Stannis, he's in a position of power.

As for Dany, can't comment.

Also so if it wasn't for Greatjon Umber boisterousess and pride at seceeding from the North and proclaiming Robb Stark King in the North, Robb Stark may have allied with Stannis Baratheon and the Red Wedding may never have happened.

So nice work Greatjon Umber :p

So, what is the relationship gap between Jon and Danny? Are they distantly related enough to be able to marry? Because I can see that kind of marital paring (for political reasons alone if nothing else, but also for the bloodline), but I don't recall how they are related. Are they first cousins? 2nd cousins?
She's his aunt.

Daenaerys' father was Aerys II, who went crazy and prompted a rebellion. Aerys' eldest son and heir was Rhaegar Targaryen, who "abducted" Ned Stark's sister Lyanna, who was betrothed to Robert. Jon was the potentially-illegitimate child of Lyanna and Rhaegar, so Daenaerys is Jon's aunt despite being younger than him by a few months.

Samtemdo8 said:
Would Robert Baratheon kill Jon Snow if he finds out he's the son of Lyanna and Rheagar?
Ned Stark hid Jon precisely because he was afraid of this happening. Robert was a morally complex character, as shown by his decision to send an assassin after Daenaerys. It's implied that his relationship with Lyanna wasn't as idyllic as he remembers it.

It's possible that Robert may have been convinced to spare him, but uncertain enough that Ned was justified in hiding his parentage.

Jute88 said:
Also, is Vale still remaining neutral in the war, or have they joined forces with the North?
That's another goddamn plot hole...months are passing while armies get shuttled back and forth around an entire continent, but news about the Vale's defection has apparently not reached King's Landing, nor has the Vale done anything against the Lannisters.

I'd say something about how the Freys dying has left the Riverlands leaderless, but I'm pretty sure everyone in the Riverlands is dead already.
Thinking about it I think Robert would have kill Jon because Lyanna died in childbirth, and he will blame the spawn of Rheagar for killing her.

But than again if that did happen it would completely erradicate the friendship between him and Ned.
