Alpha Centauri was great.deth2munkies said:I want another Alpha Centauri.
Yes I know we have Civ 5, but part of what made AC great was the underlying narrative and creative characters, which isn't present at all in Civ's historical caricatures.
That and we've been lacking in good strategy games lately.
Kudos to you Mr., I never thought anyone would remember this lovely relic.U71L7Y_F0RMUL4 said:Legacy of Kain is a must.
Unfortunately, we can't have Tony Jay because he is currently in places that we cannot find.
And so is this mothafucka'

Lots of people don't know about it. Which is a tragedy as it's one of the best game series of all time. OF ALL TIME!!!
GOD DAMMIT I want to throw my balls at people!!!
On the other hand, think of it as the new pre-order. Put in $20, if enough people do, the game gets funded, you get a 1 time use code that gives you $20 off the game at new release price. Pretty sure that'd work, 'specially if there's a refund if total not reached by date policy.BloatedGuppy said:Kickstarter has its limits. I can't see any 100 million dollar budgets appearing via Kickstarter. Not any time soon, anyway. It's good for resurrecting retro projects like Wasteland 2, not so good for things that would essentially be continuations of series with AAA production values.
I second the notion. There is a similar game out called "Dungeons" which is very similar, but instead of building casinos and such to keep your monsters happy, you place treasure to 'reward' heroes before you knock them out and torture them.synobal said:Dungeon Keeper was great.Draech said:Dungeon Keeper 3
I would like Tim Schafer to make it. I think that Doublefine would do well with a non-traditional RTS with a sense of humour.
Unfortunately the name was sold to a no-name Chinese developer :C
I doubt that Valve needs help to make HL3. I definitely agree with No One Lives Forever 3!pyrosaw said:Beyond Good and Evil 2,

Wasteland remake.
Edit: Anachronox 2 and No One Lives Forever 3?
Also how does it work exactly. I mean, they're basically looking for donations right? What it comes down to is that we'd be paying for it to be published, and then we'd be paying again to buy the game. So we're like investors but our return would be to spend more money. Other than small indie developers or risky, niche, pet projects, I don't think it should be a big thing.Onyx Oblivion said:I don't really support this Kickstarter trend that Double Fine started, but I'd like to see Ace Attorney Investigations 2 localized in the US, though. It'd be continuing a series...in the US.
I mean, how much could that cost? The game is basically made.
Not entirely. When they ask for money, they're basically asking for a certain amount of cash by a certain day. Let's say $60,000 in 30 days.Gatx said:Also how does it work exactly. But yeah, not necessarily through kickstarter, but Gotcha Force 2. On a handheld.
