Age of Empires, I love that game but my roommates hate it (they were all too busy playing C&C generals to LAN with me :( )
I'm waiting for a new one, not an expansion, but AOE4. I'm tired of the same old maps and all the scenario games online. Or are you only talking about the original AOE?
I was actually talking about the second one. I wasn't a major fan of the 3rd
Really? I loved it, until I forgot my password and my email I signed up with, no online for me :(

worms 4 mayhem!!!

everybody hates it because its unbalanced, and... and... and... 3d! but if you get used to 3d-worms you can pull off the most hilariousest stunts like doing backwards moonsault to ninja rope, letting go, swing thru the air, switch to rifle, shoot at worms mid air and land somewhere safe, stuff like that. also if hit someone right in the face with the bazooka against all odds or throwing a holy right at the feet of one of the opponents worms is really stress relieving. its nice if you see a grenade next to the enemy-worm and count it down until he goes boom

That was hated? All of my friends, as well as my brother and his friends (all of them big gamers) loved it.

SaGa Frontier. Nobody but me and a buddy of mine seemed to dig that one, and every game since in the series has been just above (or just below for Unlimited SaGa) garbage, so no one gives this game any love. It's far from perfect, but it has tons of great characters, interesting locations, solid music... and best of all... each of the 6 (or seven?) characters' stories are almost impossible to beat because the game dicks you so hard in boss fights!!! ...well, maybe that part isn't so great, but I still love the game.

And I know someone said it already, but man I loves me some Armored Core (preferably Last Raven for the PS2). The fighting system might kind of suck, but I love tweaking the attributes of my parts, seeing negligible results, but still feeling like a badass.

Starfox Assault, it didnt over stay its time in your gamecube (when nintendo wasnt trying to be the replacement for a gym so fatties can say, "i did my exercise" then eat a chocolate muffin with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles) so when you were done, you could store it away in a silver breif-case, wrapped in several cloths and bring it to parties with a memory card with data that has all of the....EVERYTHING. unlocked. If any of you have an objection to my choice the please see me (i will kill you). The 10 mission storyline was simple enough to grasp, it had all my favorite charcters (Krystal, Fox....thats it actually) and kept peppy in the GreatFox where he belong the twat. the one thing that sucked about it though is that they destroyed the GreatFox....whats wrong with you nintendo!!!?!?! half the reason i play your games is for the models (not the female models that are in the background that you never see because of slippys massive head >:/) of ships and charcters!? then you have to go kill my 2nd fave ship?!?! grawuh (sorry ill let you go back to listening to Yahtzee mutilate the names of game titles Go Yahtzee!)

A video game I love and all seem to dislike so far, except me, is MageKnight Apocalypse. It's a pc game- the only real issue I have with it is though my computer has practically double the recommended requirements for it- the game still lags constantly. I think it may have a set FPS that it cannot go past even if you have the best gaming set up possible.

Since my list is so small, I will also list the games that I hated, that everybody seemed to play non-stop:
Killzone 2
Gears of War
Halo 3*
Every single Final Fantasy
And Call of Duty World at War

*The first two were awesome

Any of the Samurai Warriors games. Most people find them repetitive and boring, and to an extent that's true. However, I have yet to find a game that makes you feel quite as godlike, standing alone on the battlefield and laying waste to a couple hundred soldiers before charging into the middle of the entire enemy army and unleashing your full power upon them, slaughtering thousands of them like they were ants in a blender.

I really liked Enter The Matrix. The way they connected everything was great and I liked the combat.

Everyone else seems to hate is though....

Shadow the Hedgehog and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. I find if you don't look at the game as part of a series, they become much more enjoyable.
