Star Fox: Adventures.

Almost everyone I know absolutely hates this game, saying how it's more like a Zelda rip-off than anything else, etcetera, etcetera. But I really liked it, once you learn to ignore Tricky's comments.

Sonic Unleashed

There's so much I want to say about this but don't have the space for. Basically if you take it at face value (an incredibly goofy game that doesn't take itself seriously) you're halfway there.
That and the fact that the final boss is fought using a giant, ancient mecha.

TLoZ: Wind Waker

Soooo much hate has been out upon the cel-shaded graphics and the sailing, but it's still an epic game.

TLoZ: Phantom Hourglass

See above.

Halo 2, if only for the fun that the Arbiter levels provided...

Star FOx Adventures: Dinosaur Planet, a Star-FOx game, set in the style of Zelda, with a graphical bonus...

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker...I don't see how changing an art style causes people to bash a game...

Prince of Persia: Warrior Withen, to me, was a good direction for the Prince's character. Honestly, if YOU'RE being chased by a time guardian hell-bent of erasing you from time...You'd become a bit angry at yourself, the enemies you fight, etc.

The Darkness, I felt was beautiful because of the way it told the story, and how the Darklings had personalities other then your standard minion...

I really liked Enter The Matrix. The way they connected everything was great and I liked the combat.

Everyone else seems to hate is though....
I really enjoyed that game, especially the hacking mini-game.

Yoshi's Story. Everyone unfairly compared it to Yoshi's Island, but I thought it was a brilliant standalone game.

Too human
What this man says - After getting used to it, I actually found myself thoroughly enjoying Too Human. It has a lot of replay value.

I Wanna Be The Guy. Apparently, everyone hates that. Personally, it's hilarious to me.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

The Grapics is very nice. Good animations and a truly immersive univers alongside a refreshing soryline plus the whole sailing aspect... an instant classic on my behalf ^^

Although it was enormously popular at the time, Halo 2 is pretty commonly regarded as the worst in the trilogy. I'd like to point out though that it single-handedly popularized online multiplayer on consoles. It's by far my favorite of the series.

Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas

Yes. It has more bugs than the average African ant colony.
Yes. It is grossly unbalanced, as you can too easily raid Port Royal, retire, and "win" the game.
Yes. You are actually the only pirate in an area that is seemingly, but apparently not, teeming with pirates.
Yes. Once you are famous the game is a piece of cake.

But the artwork! But the actual immersion of being an actual pirate! Your "crew" saying piratey things like "This is a good place for some drinkin' and whorin'!" I mean... Pirates! Not cartoony ones!

mario vs. donkey kong on the gameboy advanced. i found a fun little puzzle game with some enjoyable platforming, my friends found a pile of lumpy failure.

I quite enjoyed Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Yes, the engine needs some work, and the Wii version had a delay between the notes and music (I recalibrated several times), but the soundtrack was a very good one and didn't have any terrible songs in it. At the very least, it's turned me into an Aerosmith fan.

for me, it's Hotel Dusk: Room 215. everyone i know says that it's just a book, and there's too much reading and not enough gameplay, but i love that game.
I liked hotel dusk.
for me, it would be Fracture, Haze and Sonic Unleashed.
The third had quite a few problems, but I'm still enjoying it.

LAIR LAIR LAIR LAIR! It was freaking awesome, and aside from having to use the motion sensor to control it (which they fixed in a patch allowing you to use the joysticks), I cannot understand why nobody liked it. The graphics were amazing, the size of the battles was ridiculous, the dragons were varied, and even the ground-based enemies were huge and impressive. Someone, please tell me why it got below-average reviews everywhere?

Oh, yes, I quite liked Lair too. I have to say though, it got annoying whenver I went to use the joysticks and only got camera too.

I second the Too Human thing. While it wasn't the magnum opus Silicon Knights promised it'd be, it was still pretty decent entertainment. Also, Fallout Tactics. I'm the only person I know who actually played for more than twenty minutes.
Fallout Tactics I played it for ages till I screred myself over and had to start again....
