It seems that no one appreciates Crysis nor Crysis Warhead as the enjoyable, fluent, technical and good looking games they are. I on the other hand, find both brilliant.

Well, ET is my favourite game of all time .

It's got amazing atmosphere along with the soundtrack, character development and storyline. Don't event get me started on the amazing graphics.

Don't know why people hate it.
I can see the sarcasm in your post and one up you by saying that Superman 64 was the best game ever because you played as the man of steel and you had to fly in rings for a time limit which was so small that if you didn't make it you had to do it all over again and you would want to throw your controller against the wall in invigorating frustration. I have also never seen as great graphics since the CD-I. Yeah, those were some good times.

Hellgate Londohgoddon'thitme!

Alright, the levels were mostly ugly and repetitive, and the whole thing was rather on the buggy side, but getting past that I found it a rather enjoyable action RPG type thing.

I can honestly say that I wish I had a nice enough computer to run those games. They look great.

Ehrgeiz, an old 3D brawler for the PSX. Everyone I know ragged on it because of it's sloppy control scheme and boring arcade mode. I loved it, though. Found it to be quite a breath of fresh air compared to other fighting games of the day.

Oh, and you could play as Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. That was pretty cool.

Shadow of Destiny.
Though it's less that they 'hate it' but rather think it's stupid and won't give it a shot, orrr have never even heard of it.

People get turned off by the idea when they hear you don't actually kill anything. It's all about the choices you make and how it affects the past, present, & future. I found it to be infinitely entertaining, and even sometimes challenging. ^^

Oh yeah, this too. XP

Granted, I hated it most of the way playing through it, and didn't realize until I'd finished that I'd thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

I actually have fun with Dynasty Warriors games. I know their simplistic and are pretty much the same thing year after year but the game is still fun to me for some reason. I don't buy them anymore but I do enjoy playing some of the older ones I still have from time to time.

The little heard of Age of Pirates Carribean tales. It was buggy, had awful combat, an extremely static world and retarded AI. But the seacapes were beatiful, and ship to ship combat actually very enaging. The RPG elements were also well done, and you could spend days hunting down the best ships and loot. It was accused of stealing all its ideas from Sid Meiners pirates!, but any time a pirate game has tried to move away form Sid meiners template, its been slated.

The only people who say Crysis is a generic, bland and linear game are the people who havent played it. It is much much much better than any of the COD series, which people cant seem to stop tossing of over.

I don't have a gaming pc, but I wish I did. I can't stand COD, it's linear, generic, and overall boring

I'll admit I liked Tenchu Z for a while. I even played it on all difficulties... back to back (holy shit!) Then I tried to go back to it months later because I had accidentally deleted my save, and I just couldn't do it. It wasn't the same. But I really enjoyed it those first few play throughs. The game was actually very repetitive, but there was just something about it, creating your own ninja, and the perfect stealth kill is always so sweet. One thing I wish they had worked on before release though was the fucking clipping. If you played it, than congratulations, you know what I'm talking about.

I'm sorry you've never heard of this game, though. ._.
I don't think you understand the topic. It's 'Games that everyone hates but you', not 'Great games no ones heard of'. Thanks for sharing some of your vast knowledge though.
