Even though it gets alot of hate, the Gamecube is still a good console. Yeah, it didn't have as many games, but as the guy with a shooting cat for an avatar up there said, it made alot of wonderful games.

I think that the fact that the default color of the console and controllers being purple kind of put off a few people. The black console was hardly ever featured in any advertisements. It was only later that the platinum version became an option.

The highlights are obviously great but the library has no depth. There are 200+ good PS2 games, but with the Gamecube (like most Nintendo consoles) you'd be struggling after 25.

Loved the gamecube. So many good memories. But on the subject of the PS2, what were some of the good games? I'm ignorant enough that I doubt I could name 10 that weren't multi system, let alone 200.

The Gamecube is the George Bush of the last council generation. If someone stubbed their toe, Gamecube's fault. If they didn't shake properly after using the urinal and dripped on their pants, Gamecube's fault.

I love my little purple lunchbox thank you very much! It wasn't a looker but it was cheap and fun, Mario Cart DD was one of the best Mario cart games ever and as far as I'm concerned its only major flaw was that big name games like Splinter Cell were heavily modified, even the level design and gave it the short end of the stick.

I know it's one of those things you know is a given but...people hated the GameCube? How can anyone even hate the console that housed Eternal Darkness (and about a hundred other classics)? Madness.

The only bad console is a broken one, and thankfully that hasn't been the case the last three generations.

I enjoyed my gamecube. PSO, Starfox Adventures, Zelda games, Mystic Heroes... some good stuff.

Don't forget Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance and Skies of Arcadia.
