Ok... All I can get from this is that Nick Bounty doesn't like any form of metal, Gildan Bladeborn (called Gary from this point on) has a problem with this, and Novskij likes Jazz.

Does this thread really have to erupt into flame?

Gary- Nick has his own preferences in music, along with his dislikes. There's no justifiable reason for you to have a go at him about how he's not specifying his reason for disliking it. I don't like beer, because I don't enjoy the taste. Nick doesn't like metal music because he doesn't enjoy the sound.

Nick- there is plenty of middle-ground for metal. Granted, there is a lot of metal that sounds like a large dustbin of wasps being repeatedly stuck with a screaming child, and that's certainly what I think of when somebody mentions metal, but there is a very large number of the different styles of metal.

In summary, shut the hell up and get this thread back on track without it erupting into a pointless flamewar. That's what the religion threads are for.

Not all of them do, but many do. I have no idea why, but I'm a metalhead before a gamer. If anyone's the other way round, please enlighten me.

I figure it's because so many gamers are young males.

Statisticly then, they're more likely to listen to Hip Hop and RnB and go round stabbing people outside of the games.
