First raising money for charity, now CUPCAKES?

BioWare fans have clearly gone quite insane. But at least it's turning to more of the good kind of insane, rather than the bad "I have a gun to my head change the ending or I will pull the trigger" insane.

Oh god, someone's going to do that now, aren't they? If they do, though, they should at least do it properly. Load a revolver with different coloured bullets and yell "IT ALL ENDS IN DEATH NO MATTER WHAT I DO".

Hmm. This post kind of got away from me there. But yeah, cupcakes. I like them.

As far as protests go, this one is frigging delicious.
Just hope some thickies at Bioware don't take this as sign of approval.

Damn. Captcha does not approve

This is genius.

Sweet, delicious genius.

To be fair though if I was a BioWare employee I'd just be like "Shit, free cupcakes!"

The only way I'd support this movement is if the 400 cupcakes were made by little kids without instructions. Then it'd be more of a match to anything any EA partner releases.

$1000 dollars on this! all those damn charity's out there needing cash and they spend it on this. Whiney little nerds. I'm going to send cupcakes to all the bullys who made there lives hell through school. The icing will say one thing. Good job!
They tried giving money to charity, it was shut down because people are too thick to read what they are donating for and thought they were bloody buying a new ending, recall.

OT: This is just cool, even if it has made me seriously want to go out and buy cupcakes now, even though it is like 4:30 in the A.M. here.

so they did give money to charity, but then took it back because there precious widdle game wasn't being changed. That just makes them bigger pricks.

I call bat fight on this one.
Um, no? They thought it was a bloody Kickstarter project or some crap, instead of a charity, because they are stupid. Also, this was only like the smallest percent that gave money that wanted money back, which was apparently enough to stop the drive, but over $80,000 was still donated to Child's Play last I saw.

Complain all you want, but this Mass Effect 3 thing? It gave $80,000 to charity before someone spent $1,000 on cupcakes, thus my point that your point is a little late.

Try looking into information on a point before making statements in the future, it helps.

I think we are all missing the point here. They aren't aiming to persuade Bioware to some sort of way of thinking, the objective in fact is very simple; they are attempting to kill them by diabetes ;)

402 cupcakes? I should angering die hard video game fans. I'm hungry
I know, right? I have been wanting cupcakes since I read this.

I need to like, fundamentally screw up the next Metal Gear Solid game or something, I'd really like some cupcakes, and I'm sure a random unpaid intern could screw with something if I landed the position. Cupcakes...

*rubs eyes* Oh for the love of...Right on time I suppose, the campaign of rage has officially jumped the shark on it's stupidity. Can we go back to the days when the only fans who raged this hard were Star Wars fans? I liked those days, they were much quieter and filled with less ignorance to the fact that what they were angry over was not something they could campaign away. I don't really see how this is supposed to help them at all aside from furthering the point that they're all over-dramatic, attention seeking twits.
Oh god. What if this crap is going to go the distance and keeps popping up everywhere for years to come like the Star Wars whiners? I don't think I could frequent any gaming related website anymore. :(

"Why our human ancestors killed each other when they could have loved each other
One day we?ll be holding cupcakes instead of grudges
We?ll eliminate our territorial circuits and know what love is
One day we?ll be holding cupcakes instead of M-16s
'Til then every human being is controlled by the fight."

It seems to me that sending them cupcakes, even with a message is more a reward than a protest.
Its four hundred fricking cupcakes. Its obvious that their attacking Bioware at every employee's thigh and at the butt.

------------------------------------------

Now can we stop calling them entitled since they donated to Charity and now are giving four hundred cupcakes away. Either a lot of time spent baking or a lot of money to get them made.

I doubt it'll do anything but throw some of them off their diets. Sabotage! You know what would have been a better message? If someone on the team was allergic to vanilla or something.

You see it's like the multiplayer component getting all tangled up in the single player experience. Poor little employee with his allergy, tough. Watch your coworkers having a more enjoyable time... with their high-speed, non allergic cupcakes... bastards... rotten bastards.

See unlike nebulous subjective story, this is an actual gameplay element that needs to be addressed.

Oh, fuck it... whatever.
