A couple weeks ago, I was visiting home, and over dinner, my dad and I started talking about video games. He said one of his friends was looking to try out that one game I played...

"Where you're, like, in the desert, and you shoot all this stuff. It's like, really violent. You kill these Mad Max-looking guys and mutants. You have to find all your guns, and there's all these menus you have to go through to do everything. The mascot is that one kid or whatever, you know. You have a sticker of him on your laptop."

It wasn't until the last bit I knew what he was talking about.

Ans you can punch things with these giants fists, but they're small again after you stop punching. You can also shoot these weird red energy beams and start fires, while running into these pictures that you find by jumping through these doors in people's heads.

Ya play as this white-haired chick, and ya fight monsters with the help of all these dead guys. The dead guys are pretty handy, but then ya gotta give them to this green fairy lady, otherwise she yells at you and won't give you any presents.

You start by making your character, you like name them and stuff. There's like, no weapons in the game, except an ax. The main bad guy isn't really that bad a guy, more of an antagonist. In fact, most of the game, he poses as your friend. Anyway, you go around this town helping people, usually "catch X amount of fish and bring them to me." or "take item Y to NPC Z." Tons of fetch quests. It sounds boring, but a lot of people like it. They made a couple sequels, but they're all pretty much the same.

Well you run around in some really strange clothes and have this huge ass sword that usually glows in some colour. Also you always have your friends with you and in all the cut scenes everyone gets all emotional and there's this one blond dude who most likely likes one of the chicks who has what, silver hair?. And the aggressive chick is always drunk or something. And you always run around in some strange dungeons or dark places.
