So you believe everything Yahtzee told you about JRPGs. Western RPGs aren't much better in this aspect, since they revolve around middle aged space marines saving the galaxy.Rpground said:nearly ever JRPG out there, and the metroid series. ive never see the appeal of metroid. and the JRPG's are mostly crap, spiky haired and/or wimpy guy starts a band of rag-tag adventurers and SAIVES THWE WORALD! (spelt it like that purposely) just,blaaarg...
im sorry but, what!? this has nothing to do with yahtzee in anyway, this is my own opinion. why cant anyone have their own opinion without automatically be compared to someone else? just because he doesnt like them and someone else HAPPENS to have the same/near same opinion about them? and btw,did you even notice i said MOST JRPG's do this formula? not all,but MOST..."oh hey,i noticed you have an opinion that is the same as *insert random persons name here* you must believe everything that guy says, dhuuurp!". you see it works both ways, you just made yourself look like a tool, hope your proud of yourself. (also if you think anyone really takes anything what yahtzee says to heart, then you really must be brain-dead)Defense said:So you believe everything Yahtzee told you about JRPGs. But I agree, I never thought Metroid was that fun, even with the FPS games. It was a resounding "meh" every time I tried to play Prime and the other games.
Even then, more popular JRPGs don't have characters with spiky hair, at least not recently. Even Cloud, the posterboy for JRPG stereotypes, got a decent haircut.Rpground said:im sorry but, what!? this has nothing to do with yahtzee in anyway, this is my own opinion. why cant anyone have their own opinion without automatically be compared to someone else? just because he doesnt like them and someone else HAPPENS to have the same/near same opinion about them? and btw,did you even notice i said MOST JRPG's do this formula? not all,but MOST..."oh hey,i noticed you have an opinion that is the same as *insert random persons name here* you must believe everything that guy says, dhuuurp!". you see it works both ways, you just made yourself look like a tool, hope your proud of yourself. And there are people who treat Yahtzee seriously, believe it or not.
