Bioshock, All the plasmids were useless.
I'd like to have seen you complete the game without them
Well alright, there is one part where it's immpossible since you lose all your weapons (I died twelve times there since the plasmids do the the same amount of damage as an airsoft gun and yet still manage to drain your eve in three shots). The fact is though I was never in a situation where guns couldn't get the same job done as the plasmids five times more efficiently (the goo thrower especially since it completely removed the threat of big daddies).

Sorry about the double post, the stupid quote thing didn't work.

Well I suppose you're right in that other than the set pieces (such as melting ice early on and electrifying door panels) when it comes down to a straight choice between guns and plasmids, you're gunna choose guuns cos they are more powerful. The plasmids are there as a fun way of killing enemies. They're put in there to test your creativity in killing an enemy.

Maybe you found the game boring because you found an easy way to kill everything and it became force of habit to take that easy option?

I WILL SAY that the plasmids were like gifts from god compared to the shitty tonics. Can't remember an instance in the game where i thought 'oooh i'm glad i had that tonic to get me through that section.' What a load of BS.

lets see

GTA (whats the big deal) yeah its funny to blow up a bunch of by-standers or mow them down with a machine gun burst
Dead Rising (its feels alot like GTA) many zombie splatterers like this game but i realy dont care about it, it was over rated in my opinion and just annoyed me with its control system

I didn't like bioshock as a whole. I loved the atmosphere and the level/art direction, but I when it came to actually -playing- it, it didn't grab me at all.

Left 4 Dead: I bought it, once every few weeks I'll feel an urge to give a deserving zombie a hot buckshot injection, but I can't understand the fanaticism around it. If it was a $15 Xbox Live download, sure, but it currently doesn't seem like a full $50-60 game to me. Especially compared to TF2; how long ago did it come out, and updates are still being provided?

WoW: I tried it, I can see the polish and attention to detail, but the basic gameplay still feels like vanilla MMO to me. I thought Tabula Rasa, with its emphasis on ranged combat and feeling like you were IN a warzone, was much more interesting.

tbh, i own the 4th one. i could play it. but not again. to dull. the first one had a bit of atmosphere, but all the creatures looked like demented lego blocks.

Sims Is terrible... As is Sonic. But the one that everyone i know says: Resident Evil Is the best Zombie Horror game on the market....
No... And This annoys me to no end, hence why i dont want another of the series.
Silent Hill has a sense of Profoundity and an Aura of mystery mixed together with Pure dread. Resident Evil on the other hand has a lot of guns.... thats it. I defy anyone that says Resident evil is a horror game.... Shoot 'Em Up, maybe, but not Horror
I couldn't agree with you more and welcome to the Escapist. :D
Why Thanks Dude (Y) you have 'Epic amounts of WIN!' in you

I hate halo games, i thought it was always stupid how 50 bullets to the face slightly tickles master chief, while a hit in the back with a gun is instant K.O. So yeah i hate halo
