I can't help but notice looking at some lists that some games listed are a bit confusing. Do you mean 100% of the game or the ach points?

Oblivion, now that took forever
Ha, nice. I can't do 100% on my original character because I messed up the quest with Renald and Guilbert Jermaine.

The only games I've 100% done are those that are like that after the end game.

Also, probably Mass Effect. Not as in all achievements, but I've done every side mission and task along side the main ones.

First game I ever managed was Ape Escape 1. That was mental finding those damn apes.

Just finished Professor Layton to 100%, but that was with an FAQ. Spyro 3 was another one.

Though I don't like aiming for 100% unless I REALLY liked the game. It does just get tedious and annoying if you do.

I mean, for example, every last thing in the game that can be done is done. Like in Goldeneye, if you can beat each level in 00 agent mode by a certain time, you unlock a multiplayer cheat. 100% would be if you unlocked every one.

Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
Almost had Super Mario Sunshine (was missing a blue coin on the very first level, used guides and inspected every inch of the levels, but could never find that one darn coin!)
Mass Effect
Prince of Persia (collecting all those light seeds counts right?)
I don't know, maybe more, I can't recall all the games I used to play when I was little.

I used to try and complete everything I could when I was younger, but it became too frustrating and it would take too long, or I just plain didn't realize how do to it. I've come fairly close with some games, but not totally, usually giving up when I realize just how much time is required to finish it. Like with Final Fantasy X; the Blitz Ball mini-game, and then dodging 100 lightning bolts straight, and then later realizing some stupid special boss requiring more than 2 hours to kill. I never even got through all the arena monster bosses.

I don't really think about whether there is a counter for 100% completion when I buy games, nor does it really factor into purchases.

Today with achievements, I'll usually do the ones that are cool or interesting, but finding every single little pickup, well, I usually skip those.

I've gotten very close on Rayman 2... but usually I wont even attempt to go for 100% because it means doing levels over and over until you get every last thing.

I've completed all of the Jak games to a hundred. Though, the only one that you have to do more than the story to get 100% is Jak and Daxter (the first one). But I've gotten 117% completion in Jak 2: Renegade :D

Agreed. I did try once, and ended up giving up, heh.
