Eternal Darkness remains the greatest Gamecube game of all time. Other than that, all the standard suggestions apply.

Hey all!

Now i should be getting my old Gamecube back off my auntie sometime this week, i was hoping for any game Suggestions.

I have Starwars Rogue Squadron and i think i have Pokemon Colosseum. hopefully i'll be able to find the other Pokemon game for it as well.

I like Shooters and RPG's (with decent customization although that is optional :p ) mostly, but i am open to try new games if they are good :p like Pikmin and so on.

Care to help a guy out? Because i don't want to waste my money on a game i will not like :p

And before anyone else mentions Gamestop, I'm British :p
LotR: Return of the King
I personally liked Golden Eye Rouge Agent
You don't get Prince of Persia I may hit you
umm...Tales of Symphonia. Paper Mario thousand year door. Metal of Honor Frontline. Call of Duty 1. All I got for right now
Unfortunately i do not like PoP, it's good don't get me wrong, but like Morrowind i feel sick when i play it =\

Just isn't my type of game *Hides behind wall*
haha, don't worry dude. I'm not really going to hurt you.

Or am I....

Lets see...I'd say go with

Time Splitters- there are quite a few, not exactly positive which one is the best
Zelda Wind Waker- awesome Zelda game, one of my favorites
Tales of Symphonia- it can get a bit dull at times, but the story is wacky and fun, and the combat is cool

Basically those three games are the reason I have my gamecube. There are certainly tons of other good games out there, but those are easily my top 3.

Tales of Symphonia, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Baiten Kaitos, LoZ Wind Waker, Luigis Mansion, Pikmin 1 & 2, Paper Mario: TYD, Mario Sunshine, Battalion Wars, Fire Emblem, SSBM. That's all I got off the top of my head.

Geist, a first person game where you play as a ghost that haunts objects and people and use them to solve puzzles and get to your body...it's an AWESOMELY fun game :3

Resident Evil 1, the graphicly remastered version, scared my ass off.
Eternal Darkness.
SSBM, better than Brawl.

Timesplitters (2 or Future Perfect)
Medal of Honor Frontline
StarFox Adventures
Freedom Fighters
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee

This is my Gamecube library, and I love the hell outta these games. I strongly recommend them.

No it doesn't (Red Green and Blue port), i had that problem with my 360 until i bought a HDMI cable, i have an adapter, but for some reason, my TV hates it =\
Weird, because RGB/Component is like the BEST analogue input and Composite (yellow plug) is the worst.

Have you tried fiddling with your TV settings, RGB should be tha-bomb and has proven to be in my experience. Have you googled for problems with your model of TV? It could be as simple as it is trying to "interlace" a picture that comes out progressive.

The best RPG available for that console is, by far, Skies of Arcadia. Not too heavy on the customization, but WELL worth checking out just the same!
Totally agree, in my top 5 of all time favorite games

Yeh I've looked it up, mine is Technika TV, and i aint the only one with the problem, I've tried fiddling with the TV, I've reset the options, I've done everything and it will not work, i get the picture, just no sound.

I would say try and get every resident evil, but 2 and 3 are just so rare it took me 5 months just to track one down. But definitely get Resident evil REmake it's only £6 and is good for a scare.

"Where do you get Gamecubes now anyway?"
Wii plays Gamecube games. You just need to get a controller and a memory card.

-Metroid Prime 1 and 2. (Some of the best games ever made. You want atmosphere and environment? Here's the pinnacle)
-Smash Bros Melee (much better than Brawl...as long as you ignore wavedashing twats who insist that 4-5 characters is the "only way" to enjoy the game)
-Killer 7
-Super Mario Strikers (for the multiplayer mainly. There's nothing as therapeutic as kicking Peach into an electric fence over and over)
-Any Paper Mario title
-Timesplitters

And...yeah. There's more to it than that, but I had fun with each and every one of those.

Err, I know this may sound obvious, but you have also plugged in the Red and White audio plugs as well? Into the relevant slots, as they may want different Red-white sockets when taking component input, usually adjacent? Being careful not to mix up the Red-Video plug with the Red-sound plug?

The Red, Green and Blue plugs of Component video only contain the video portion, the audio is separate. That's why component works so well, all the aspects of the analogue signal are separated to significantly reduce interference.

Worst come to worse get one of these:

Takes the audio plugs and rewires them so you can use them directly with headphones (need a male-to-male adapter). It's what I have used with my 360 plugged into a computer monitor (no speakers but HD resolution for only $50) via the VGA cable, and it works a charm.

Gamecube would be ULTIMATE if it had VGA support, but to get that (only with US version) you need a special third party cable.

These 3 caught my attention

Battalion Wars: Sounds quite interesting...RTS? or shooter? if it's RTS forget it.

F-Zero Gx: Sounds Sci-Fi, and me like Sci-fi

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg: i Giggled at the title, explain :p
Battalion Wars is a mixup of RTS and shooter, you play as one unit that you have full third person control over, while ordering all the other units around, being able to control which ever unit you want to directly control for more precise tasks. Really blends the genres well with RTS tactics and shooter skill needed whilst being very light on the RTS front. (I too cannot stand RTS games lol) Also has a really unique art style which really added to it for me.

F-Zero Gx is a ridiculously fast paced futuristic racing games with crazy tracks and hover cars, provides a great and very tough challenge which I enjoyed despite also not liking racing games. Also Captain Falcon of the FAAALLLCONNN PAAAWWNCH fame is the main character.

Billy Hatcher, well this one is just odd lol, you play as a kid who rolls around eggs using them as weapons and for various activities, as well as hatching them to spawn special pets which have various abilities and attacks of their own all mixed into a pretty solid platformer, I had more fun with this than almost all Mario titles I've played. Good fun and even has split-screen multiplayer which is hilarious =D.

Aaah! I wish I still had it!
Edit: And F=Zero is great on it as well. And I just remembered Ultimate Muscle is a great title.

SOMEONE ELSE OWNS GOTCHA FORCE?

And I had my first save file crash, and started over. My Dark Knight is maxed and I have G-Black. The game store I worked at had a group of Gotcha Force addicts.
