Now i should be getting my old Gamecube back off my auntie sometime this week, i was hoping for any game Suggestions.
I have Starwars Rogue Squadron and i think i have Pokemon Colosseum. hopefully i'll be able to find the other Pokemon game for it as well.
I like Shooters and RPG's (with decent customization although that is optional) mostly, but i am open to try new games if they are good
like Pikmin and so on.
Care to help a guy out? Because i don't want to waste my money on a game i will not like
And before anyone else mentions Gamestop, I'm British![]()
I personally liked Golden Eye Rouge Agent
You don't get Prince of Persia I may hit you
umm...Tales of Symphonia. Paper Mario thousand year door. Metal of Honor Frontline. Call of Duty 1. All I got for right now
Just isn't my type of game *Hides behind wall*

Weird, because RGB/Component is like the BEST analogue input and Composite (yellow plug) is the worst.arc1991 said:No it doesn't (Red Green and Blue port), i had that problem with my 360 until i bought a HDMI cable, i have an adapter, but for some reason, my TV hates it =\
Totally agree, in my top 5 of all time favorite gamesbusterkeatonrules said:The best RPG available for that console is, by far, Skies of Arcadia. Not too heavy on the customization, but WELL worth checking out just the same!
Yeh I've looked it up, mine is Technika TV, and i aint the only one with the problem, I've tried fiddling with the TV, I've reset the options, I've done everything and it will not work, i get the picture, just no sound.Treblaine said:Weird, because RGB/Component is like the BEST analogue input and Composite (yellow plug) is the worst.arc1991 said:No it doesn't (Red Green and Blue port), i had that problem with my 360 until i bought a HDMI cable, i have an adapter, but for some reason, my TV hates it =\
Have you tried fiddling with your TV settings, RGB should be tha-bomb and has proven to be in my experience. Have you googled for problems with your model of TV? It could be as simple as it is trying to "interlace" a picture that comes out progressive.
Err, I know this may sound obvious, but you have also plugged in the Red and White audio plugs as well? Into the relevant slots, as they may want different Red-white sockets when taking component input, usually adjacent? Being careful not to mix up the Red-Video plug with the Red-sound plug?arc1991 said:Yeh I've looked it up, mine is Technika TV, and i aint the only one with the problem, I've tried fiddling with the TV, I've reset the options, I've done everything and it will not work, i get the picture, just no sound.Treblaine said:Weird, because RGB/Component is like the BEST analogue input and Composite (yellow plug) is the worst.arc1991 said:No it doesn't (Red Green and Blue port), i had that problem with my 360 until i bought a HDMI cable, i have an adapter, but for some reason, my TV hates it =\

The Red, Green and Blue plugs of Component video only contain the video portion, the audio is separate. That's why component works so well, all the aspects of the analogue signal are separated to significantly reduce interference.
Worst come to worse get one of these:

Takes the audio plugs and rewires them so you can use them directly with headphones (need a male-to-male adapter). It's what I have used with my 360 plugged into a computer monitor (no speakers but HD resolution for only $50) via the VGA cable, and it works a charm.
Gamecube would be ULTIMATE if it had VGA support, but to get that (only with US version) you need a special third party cable.
Battalion Wars is a mixup of RTS and shooter, you play as one unit that you have full third person control over, while ordering all the other units around, being able to control which ever unit you want to directly control for more precise tasks. Really blends the genres well with RTS tactics and shooter skill needed whilst being very light on the RTS front. (I too cannot stand RTS games lol) Also has a really unique art style which really added to it for me.arc1991 said:These 3 caught my attention
Battalion Wars: Sounds quite interesting...RTS? or shooter? if it's RTS forget it.
F-Zero Gx: Sounds Sci-Fi, and me like Sci-fi
