I am going to guess that nobody else on this forum has played Swashbuckler. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swashbuckler_(computer_game)]

Eternal Darkness, I loved it and I usually assume that no one here played it because it was a Gamecube exclusive.
Still have my copy.

My addition to the party was Evil Genius
This game is brilliant. Imagine the world of austin powers in the 1960s, evil masterminds, insidious plots, and volcano islands.

The game itself is an evil island simulator.. think dungeon keeper-- with a bit of game thrown in there for flavor. Agents come to the island, you capture them and strap them into giant laser devices or force them to listen to classical music.

So win.

Dwarf Fortress

Dungeon Keeper meets Populous meets Nethack meets Stronghold. Brilliant!
Spit! Beaten to it.
"______"has just become a miner!
"______" cancels Job: Hunt Animals, hunting vermin for food.

I might suck at it just a tad.

Skullmonkeys anyone?
The Neverhood Chronicles (precursor to Skullmonkeys) rocked hardcore, I've been meaning to go ROM hunting for Skullmonkeys but haven't.

I hate horror of any kind, but I'm working myself up to playing that game, actually.

As for games no one has played...Soulbringer. That game was awesome.

Geist, though most people didn't play it for good reasons.

But I have to admit, the multi-player was pretty fun.

I think I can safely say no one has ever played this game:

Good: Okami, XIII, Super Mario RPG (YAY), Advent Rising, Eternal Darkness

Bad: None immeadiately come to mind, except Red Steel *shudder*

WTF?: Kingdom of Loathing. Really, good luck with that one folks.

Record of Lodoss War on Dreamcast.
Ico on Playstation2.
Tail Concerto on Playstation (played an import demo, thought it was brilliant, then two years go by and I finally find it in a bargain bin at a Hollywood Video. Tragic.).
Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars on Gameboy Advance.
Ghost in the Shell on Playstation (probably the most under-appreciated shooter on the PS1).
Hybrid Heaven on the N64.
Flashback: The Quest for Identity on Sega Genesis.

Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted (formerly known as Horizons: Empire of Istaria). The game has a wonderful community of about 100 people max, probably less.

Calvinball...
I usually don't play games unless someone recommends something.. thus I don't play a lot of obscure games.

No one else ever seems to have played Arx Fatalis and I think it's rather a shame, really. I truly think it is an epic game.

RAD aka Robot Alchemic Drive for the PS2

Basically the whole thing was sort of a tongue-in-cheek version of the B-movie Giant Robots vs. Alien invaders Japanese anime thing. The character artist was the same one from Cowboy Bebop I believe. The best part about the game though was the sense of scale. You control a human character who uses a remote control (which looks alot like a Playstation 2 controller conveniently) to control a 1 of 3 giant robots with different abilities (2 of which actually transform into a jet and a tank respectively). As you run through the city you actually feel like your in a b-movie (Complete with terrible english dubs) and the ground even shakes (or the camera actually) as your 50 foot robot dukes it out with a variety of different space monsters, oh and did I mention all of the buildings are completely destructible and you can stomp on pedestrians (granted there are like 4 or 5 pedestrian models but still...)

Released by Konami. A very repetitive game. I'd imagine you'd be lucky to even find this game anymore.
I played that game in the arcade, did it come to consoles?

How about Shadowrun for the SNES? It was an ok game, at best, and if you actually played the Pen & Paper version, you would know that it's almost as wrong as the 360 version.

Technically that would mean the genesis version of Shadowrun is the least wrong.
