I still love Divine Divinity even though it has possibly the lamest name ever. I must have sunk a hundred hours into that one.

Or FF8, still my favourite of the series. Gunblade=Win.

I'd say that way too few people know about Nanosaur.

Even though I won't shut up about it

Pandemonium for the orginal Playstation. Gaming magic, right there.
I used to play that as much as I could, I absolutely loved that game. I even unlocked an easter egg by dropping my playstation from 2 metres onto the floor.
Odd..

This thread HAS been done before, but 3 months ago.

Now, getting to the topic, I do not believe no one remebers this game.

Or these two:

So what are some games you guys remember that other guys don't?
I remember Jet Moto. It was fun.

No one remembers? Hm...Empire Earth 1? Probably not the best answer.

Anybody remember MediEvil, or is it just me? I thought that game was fantastic, back in the day...

I fell in love with this game when I was young.
I remember all of these
OT: Final Fantasy Tactics. It was overshadowed by its overrated sister game FFVII that came out around the same time

Probably my favorite game of all time and not one single person I have ever met has known about it. It was amazing. You can actually find it on the Xbox Originals list for download on the Xbox Live marketplace. Its $15 though, so if you find a copy in a Gamestop, its well worth it.
Oh man, that game was great. I should go fire that up, haven't played it in ages.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one on the Escapist who remembers this charming little puzzle game.

Panzer Dragoon was really good. Reasons why no one remembers it though:
1. It was originally released on the Saturn
2. Panzer Dragoon Saga only got like 30,000 copies
3. Sega is completely retarded and has left the series to gather dust while they make more Sonic games.
Someone never played Panzer Dragoon Orta. Sega decided to try marketing it on the Xbox, and it kicked total ass. Best rail shooter I've ever played.

Actually I have Panzer Dragoon Orta and you're right it is an incredible game. What I mean is that it's been eight years since we've heard anything from this series and it's just a shame that Sega has no plans of reviving it. Though I suppose it is best to let something die a classic than to put where Sonic is now.
Indeed. I wish it had been continued, though I really doubt it would be possible to take a world as dark as Panzer Dragoon's and make it happy, sunshiny, and filled with gag-me characters

Beyond Good and Evil doesn't count because everyone knows about it because nobody knew about it before. Now everyone remembers it as "that game that was quite good but nobody gave a cat's arse", so it doesn't really count.
This is gonna sound incredibly douchebaggy, but I genuinely played it when it first came out, so I actually remember it as one of the best games and that's it.

Was that the mystical FPS? Instead of firing a gun, you had a number of wands of varying power? There was that, and I think something called Heretic by the same company. The latter of the two, I didn't really play.

Witchaven (PC). Got meh reviews, I thought it a brilliant FPS using swords and bows and arrows rather than guns. The graphics were amazing for the time, and they had this stupid ugly blue face that popped up and there was a cymbal crash as it flashed on the screen, apropos of nothing, it was just there to give you a startle while you were playing. Witchaven 2 came out, and I was all excited about the advance in graphics I expected so I picked it up immediately at COMPUSA (Way before internet reviews were widely available) and sadly, it was literally broken.

Others:

Zelda 2 clones for NES:
Faxanadu
Battle for Olympus.

Commodore 64:
Ultima 3 (think stone age Final Fantasy)

I read that it felt like you were walking down bland, endlessly long corridors, so I passed on it. What were some elements of the game you thought special? The style of game is among my favorites. I wonder if it is available for download onto the Wii?
