Portal. I'm sorry but I just couldn't get into it! I actually got stuck at one point, sort of. Perhaps I'm just too dumb...
I didn't like it much either, but I din't get stuck. I got bored. I also not very crazy about Epic's games anymore. UT2004 was the last game I enjoyed.

FIFA, it is utter shite and so unrealistic because the defenders are far too overpowered
and they all run like they have scissors for legs.

Halo games and MW2. I just don't get the appeal.

Edit: I'm not saying this because I really hate Halo, just because I tried playing it with some friends around and got bored really quickly.

Halo 1 just seemed pretty bland and stiff to me. Though I can see how it may have been considered revolutionary ten years ago. I do however love 3, ODST and already Reach.
Mass Effect is another I can recognize the greatness in, I just didn't like it. I didn't like Shepherd, it felt like I was playing as him rather than I was making the character.

Dragon Age though is just horrible. Again, I felt like I was being given a character rather than making one, except the world was just bland, uninteresting and I genuinely didn't want to be a part of it. Plus, American Dwarves. AMERICAN? No offense to any US people, I just don't think your accent works at all with the set-in-stone Dwarves of Tolkein lore. Or any other accent other than Scottish, for that matter.
Oblivion I just found crap in every way compared to Fallout 3.

and the "sandvich" is almost as bad as "the cake is a lie"

I hate valve.
I don't hate Valve, but I think they're overrated as well. All there annoying sort of 'catchphrases' (Cake is a lie, everything ever said in L4D, L4D2, or TF2) Aren't really funny at all and just now are very annoying. I enjoyed Portal, and I have yet to play TF2 or HL, and L4D2 was very boring and generally I thought had utterly shitty gunplay.

I got that Dead Rising 2 prequel-demo-thing the other day, and I had tons of fun in comparisom to L4D2, and that cost only 3 fucking pounds.

The Call of Duty series past CoD 2. Totally generic FPSs that are met with critical acclaim? No thanks.
Oh my god. Someone took these words from my mouth :D
Also Portal. I didn't like it.
That's all :D

I really didn't like the God Of War, the Zelda or the Castlevania series. Just could not get into them.

Don't know what the fuss is about tbh.

I don't like JRPG's, except Pokemon.

I don't like Borderlands, and I'm not sure why. Something about the presentation, the not-Fallout 3-ness just grates for me.

Like many people on these forums, I don't like Halo or Modern Warfare. I've played through Modern Warfare 2's singleplayer and found it annoying, but tolerable. The multiplayer is an absolute joke, but some people seem to have a reason to keep playing it.

I was unimpressed with Half-Life 2, Bioshock, and Mass Effect. I assume the reasons for this were because I didn't play them until long after they were released, and I still had some lingering resentment for the online activation that prevented me from playing the games that I had paid for(due to lack of internet) until around a year after I paid for them.

Pretty much any sandbox RPG like Oblivion, Morrowind or Fallout 3.

They aren't BAD games and I can see why people enjoy them but I always get the feeling that the huge open worlds end up being an excuse to not bother having much of a story and in an RPG that's not a good thing.

Also the Grand Theft Auto series, for all the hype and attention those games get they're actually terrible to play. The combat sucks, the driving is prohibitively awkward to control and the stories are frequently boring.
I give Rockstar credit for opening the door to the mission based sandbox genre but they need to step up their game because just about everyone else is doing it better these days.

Can I do a reverse answer and say FFXII, since everyone here seems to hate it and I really liked it?

OT: I really can't think of anything. I guess I'm just a well-adjusted, normal person because I like most games that are generally considered good =P
