yeeaaaah I don't do it anymore (now I just shake it up and down and hit my couch) but as a kid I'd have to say that Gex Game, not Deep Cover Gecko but the other one on the N64

I've never thrown my controller but I have gotten so pissed-the-F***-off that I stompped my feet so hard that they stung for about 10 minutes.

I didn't throw my controller as such, but Dead Rising and it's ridiculous boss fights did make me carefully put down my controller and beat it to pieces with a bat. I vowed never to play that game again, controllers are pricey.

Grand Theft Auto + Three-Leaf Clover = RAGE

Strangely enough, it's now one of my easiest missions.
I originally raged because I had made it all the way to the end, didn't think to rush out the top, then was bombarded. Second time - Made it to the SUV out front, NPC got lodged in the environment, busted by police.
Third time - Made it out of reticle, finger slipped, fired weapon, caught by police, flipped car, death.

Likewise for the final mission, the game froze as Niko got into the helicopter.

I'm sure there were instances in San Andreas as well, but I cannot remember them.

I was playing Wii Sports Resort without the little strap and the Motion Plus thing slipped out of my hands and slammed the door. I was pretty angry about that.

I'm too mellow to ever do anything like that.

Worst thing i do is turn off the game, play/do something else.

I've never quite understood the logic.

If you're annoyed at a game, how is 'being annoyed at a game + being annoyed at breaking your gaming hardware' considered an improvement? ;)

team fortress.it is acteully rarer to die a non-overkill death or downright bullcrap deaths.for example,i was a SCOUT running along a way and i die becouse of a headshot.then the killcam shows me the sniper LOOKING AT HALF OF MY TEAM WITH THE MEDIC HAVING A FULL UBER.needless to say.i was pissed, and then you have those fucking demospam.EVERY attack is pretty much instakill.grendes do a crapload of damage bounce you up so youre ready to take another one to the feet until you die.SO.FUCKING.FRUSTRATING.

I have never thrown my controller, but my mum did once when playing From Russia With Love on the Gamecube. She kept on getting owned by me on multiplayer. She then fucked up my controller

God of War I and II on the highest difficulty.
Eventually did it but it was just pissing me off at times. Especially sme of the bosses in God of War II.
I'm surprised that I've had the same Ps2 and controllers since I got it back in 2001. After all those 9 years and the times I've dropped or hit a cntroller, both of them still work perfectly.

Killzone 2 . I was really baked starting the game and for some reason started on veteran. It was pretty frustrating all in all but bearable. All until the end when your breaking into Visari's mansion and the helghast keep rushing you from both sides and your up on the second floor. Your dumbass accomplice gets killed within a minute of you being up there and there are about 20 blind spots where you keep getting killed from. I impulse threw my controller at my cabinet right by the TV. Almost made me return the game.

The problem is that we can't just skip a sequence when we get stuck on it, or just do a quick rewind to before we screwed up*, if we could do that then we wouldn't get so angry.

The thing about having all the content locked when you start the game is bullshit. The Games Industry will never surpass the Film Industry in sales and profit until they stop locking us out of all the content THAT WE'VE PAID FOR!!1!

They what now? Aw, dammit.....

(*And no it wouldn't destroy the tension of the game. That's created by skilled mood creation and good writing, not by an artificial version of 'death' which amounts to little more than annoying repetition.)

...Seriously?

Damn, dude, a lot of people on this forum have anger issues.

Think the last time I threw my controller I was playing Mario Brothers on my NES... When I was 6.
