I would have to say Bioshock. Everyone always praises how great it is. It just wasn't my type of game I guess, because I really did not enjoy playing through it.

Leg-end-ary. It looked brilliant, as you play on you realise it's just the same few enemies that respawn until you activate a trigger.

Fallout 3 for me. Just totally wasn't worth playing it. I though it was just boring. Oh, and I hate 30s music, that might have been part of it.

Advanced Wars:Days of Ruin.

Granted i love the game but, the reason its still unbeaten is because its just so UNFAIR.
I spent at leas 3hr's on one part of a chapter.

Damn Rockets and Anti-Air.

For me it was the lack of challenge.

Resident Evil 5. Way to put the bullet in the head of an excellent video game franchise. They should have just left the series as 0 - Code Veronica and released Resi 4 under the title "The all New Adventures of Leon and Aida; Attack of the disgruntled Spaniads".

Half Life 2. No matter how many times I play it I just don't care for it.
This for me as well. I try to get into it over and over because its meant to be a classic

War Hawk sucks, tried to be a tribes replacement and was boring as heck.

Prototype was far too limited on weapons, either big blade and tank mode, or whip fist...and tank mode.

Zoldner was a pile of shite, I regret getting that instead of Battlefield 2.

I've never understood this mentality, because it smacks of someone who decided these two were declared (wrongly) the best and then never used any of the other weapons. It's a bit like saying Gears of War was rubbish because you only used the Lancer. Muscle Mass was amazing, and the claws were just great fun, as was stealthing and gunning a bunch of people down. There were loads of options, you don't have to use the "best".

OT - Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. Congratulations, you've murdered hundreds of zombies on the same map fifty times in a row! Now... Do it again!

It was going to be called "Captain Poncyhair vs Continental Europe" remember?

Resident Evil 5 would be one of mine, the other though would be LoZ Twilight Princess, it seemed really unimaginative compared to Wind Waker.

Aye, and they inverted the entire game just to make link right-handed on the Wii version, what's the damn POINT!?

Half-Life 2, if I hated the first vehicle driving section what made me think that I was going to put up with the extended bullshit of the second one? No fucking way am I going to attempt it ever again.

Commandos 3 I think it was. It came with a piece of hardware or in a bundle of some sort. I eventually installed it a few months ago (after having had it for years). Man, just too hard. I died three times during the tutorial and couldn't get through the first mission. Psychotic game. Saving Europe just wasn't worth it.

It's not likeleaving him left handed would have affected the controls at all. I still don't see why people were complaining about it though, not every Link was going to be a lefty if he's a different person each time, it's statistically unlikely.

I just posted this in another thread but:

Borderlands and Hellgate: London which suffered from the same problem: too much focus on loot and grinding and none of the aspects of the RPG genre that make it likable such as characters, story, immersion, and decision-making.

Majesty 2 - surprisingly good game, and a worthy successor to the original, but the campaign just got ridiculously hard near the end.

Half-Life 2 - game made me sick because of some weird field of vision setting. I could only play about 30 minutes of it before needing to throw up, so I gave up after that level near the beginning on the speed boat.

Vice City/San Andreas - I cannot fly the damn planes in GTA games so I gave up on both when the plot required you to learn how to fly. In Vice City, this was for the porno posters, and in San Andreas it was after you buy the airfield.

I was just a little taken aback when I saw that Death Mountain was now on the complete opposite side of the world and all the writting on the signs was back-to-front as were the dungeon maps in my guide book. It was quite the head fuck untill my fucked-up head managed to comprihend the reason for it all.

It's true, they should have stuck with Wind Waker, exept a little less cutesy... If fact, they should have taken the Wind Waker gameplay and graphics and made a completely different game, all about pirates!
