Games that just werent worth the effort

Prince of Persia 2008. I was playing through it then I forgot about the game completely because it was so boring. I eventually found it, put it back in, finished it and actually said "well that wasn't worth it."

I can't believe I wasted 8 hours of my life playing that piece of shit... every battle was a drudging chore.

I only lost 6 hours. I can't believe the speed achievement requirement said 12...

I completely agree, the game strayed too far away from Sands of Time and lost a lot of fun factor in its transition

Here's a game no one has mentioned:

Grandia 3. Loved the first two, hated the third for one reason only. The story telling and the script. Absolutely HORRENDOUS.

Far Cry 2. It wasn't brutally hard or anything, but even the small amount of effort I put into it wasn't worth it.

It sure was pretty to look at though.

Prototype was far too limited on weapons, either big blade and tank mode, or whip fist...and tank mode.

I've never understood this mentality, because it smacks of someone who decided these two were declared (wrongly) the best and then never used any of the other weapons. It's a bit like saying Gears of War was rubbish because you only used the Lancer. Muscle Mass was amazing, and the claws were just great fun, as was stealthing and gunning a bunch of people down. There were loads of options, you don't have to use the "best".

Shield was great for just plowing through cars and people, but the blade was more effective than rock fist against heavy armour, and the claws were only good for soft targets. But most of the time it was the whip fist or the blade to get things done.

Halo 3. I wait and wait and this is what I get? A little robot with one attack as a final boss? Jeez...

OT: Oblivion, just the terrible acting and storyline, i could NEVER finish the damned thing, EVEN if i played just the storyline, could never finish.
