I wanted to use the Puppies perk so I had him take on several Deathclaws. After he killed like two of them I had to -help- the Deathclaws kill him myself. Needless to say, it wasn't really worth it in the end.soilent said:how did you pull that off? my dogmeat can take down like 3 reavers by itself...pyrosaw said:Not really a moment everyone faces, but Dogmeat always dies terrible in my Fallout 3 game.....
Same reaction. Not cry, but as close as I get in anything outside of books or real life. I don't really cry, although when I read (Any one ever notice that it's spelt the same for past and present tense?) Bridge to Terabithia I sometimes cry.Revxx said:Well maybe it didn't make me cry...
But I always hate when Aeris dies.

That's not to say I wasn't a little upset at the end of Half Life 2: Episode 2, but no, can't say one has ever made me cry.
Care to give some more detail? Sounds like a great story.SL33TBL1ND said:That reminds me of the time I pretended to be Solid Snake at an airport once. That took a lot of explaining, man.soilent said:do you go SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!! ?dpc3 said:Metal Gear Solid 3 at the end... poor snake.
I do.
Well, I was on a Eurotrip with some people right, and during that trip I found out how much these guys were into MGS and it brought the franchise alive again for me. Throughout the whole trip there were MGS jokes everywhere. Then, at the airport in Singapore on the way home I decided to have a bit of a laugh. So was walking around with a friends scarf as a bandanna all sneaky-like. But doing stupid things as well, like wall hugging the inside of a horizontal escalator while going in the opposite direction to what the thing was. Got many strange looks from people. Eventually a couple of Airport security guys showed up asking why I was acting suspicious.dpc3 said:Care to give some more detail? Good story, thanks. I must say I've been awfully tempted to wear a bandanna.SL33TBL1ND said:Well, I was on a Eurotrip with some people right, and during that trip I found out how much these guys were into MGS and it brought the franchise alive again for me. Thankfully I was fairly close to a games store so I could show them a copy of MGS to try and explain.
Oh, god, the sequence right before the end. You know the one I mean. I was sobbing so hard I almost failed.Yostbeef said:Mgs 4 was the most bleak and depressing game I've ever played i was obsessed with the with the series as a teenager. As i played Mgs 4 a voice in my head was going this is it this is the end of one of your most beloved characters.
That scene didn't make me cry but I was surprised that Epic was able to make a story piece like that so emotionally affecting.RatRace123 said:The intense atmosphere in Gears 2. You know the scene, the incredibly melodramatic scene. I didn't cry, but I did have to take like 15 seconds to gather myself. It was a pretty sad scene.
I LOVED this game. Perhaps the gameplay was not the most streamlined, and perhaps it could have done with some more bug-checks, but it made me feel RESPONSIBLE for everything I did and, consequently, everything that happened in the plot.Belgian_Waffles said:The end of Red Dead Redemption is the most recent.
