Chrono Trigger. Sunken Desert. Lara's legs. Oh god.

I also cried at the sheer awesome of Chapter 14 of Bayonetta (I've been a Space Harrier fan ever since I first saw it in an arcade when I was 5).

Bastion and Katawa Shoujo, in several places.

Not like actual bawling of course, but there were moist parts of my body all the same.

This is gonna make me sound like a jerk, but I hated Tali, so
When I turned her down when she wanted to start a relationship, and the scene where she swan dives off of a cliff made me laugh quite a bit.

And games that made me swell up a little

-Mass Effect 3
Grunt's last stand, Mordin's death, and the badass ending that is Destroy

and Spec Ops:The Line
The white phosphorus scene where you come across the burnt up corpse of a mother and child

MGS2, THAT ONE SCENE made me hate Vamp for ever until I get a PS3 and give him a right proper military knife in the rectal area
MGS3 when everything at the end, especially the grave scene
ME3 when my ex-squadmates sacrifices, Oh blue rose of Illium and the Synthesis ending when EDI says "I am alive"
Katawa Shoujo when Hanako, especially those parts where she was happy, like the birthday presents, those made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside
Persona 4 when leaving Inaba after the True Ending
Persona 3 FES when some of the friends where calling out to you for the universe arcana thing, and the ending, especially Aigis' face during it

and that's about it

Mother 3 didn't make me cry, but was still really emotionally powerfully. I ended up getting really attached to the main character.

when i first read that i thought, "hm, thats a weird name for a game." im assuming its a quote from walking dead, because that seems to be everyone choice for saddest game. ive had it on my computer for like a year...ill get around to playing it eventually

for me it was probably...

the ending of final fantasy 10

journey

mass effect 3
the part where mordin dies, mostly because he was my favorite character. but more than that, the part where i thought grunt had died. i was forcing myself to never redo any decisions so i would have to pay the price for my actions, whether that be good or bad. but grunt was one of my favorite characters and the only krogan that didnt annoy the shit out of me (and yes, that includes wrex), so i almost replayed the level when i thought i had killed him

and most of all, nier
on the second playthrough when you find the wolf boss and learn his back story and why he is attacking the humans. i was so sad and pissed at the humans, i really wanted to kill them, instead of the boss

Final Fantasy 7, Shadow of the Colossus (from the beauty of it, not sadness), Chrono Trigger, and recently The Walking Dead. Not helped by this being the song I thought of, not the original:

I welled up a bit playing To The Moon and The Darkness, but didn't cry.

GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption bored me to tears.

I guess I've never really cried at a game before...

Red Dead Redemption for sure, what an ending that was, seriously people should play that game.
You think there's a single gamer left who hasn't played RDR already?
PC Gamers.

Super Paper Mario did it for me. Though that was sort of a so-happy-it's-sad cry.

Halo 4, after that ending the credits with the beautiful "Unforgotten" melody cracked those tears.

Full blown tears? I gotta say Mass Effect 3 and The Walking Dead. Games that made me tear up were Red Dead Redemption and Halo 4.

Mass Effect 3 when Mordin, Legion and Thane died, The Walking Dead when Lee died, RDR when John died, Halo 4 when Cortana died. Seems like death is a big reason to cry in games for me)

Nope. I haven't cried in years, and I can't remember why I did it then.

That said, the endings to Red Dead Redemption and MGS3 came a little closer than most games. No, I have not played The Walking Dead, I intend to later.

Oh blue rose of Illium
When I found that recording, my first thought was "No...not Char. Fuck you Bioware, why'd you have to kill Char!" And then finding out that Kal'Reegar died on Palaven. God damnit Bioware, why'd you kill off all the good characters?!

OT: The ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 got me in tears, as did the end of Final Fantasy 10.

heroic sacrifices, honor death, that kind of things

although I did find it a bit odd that, being that I helped Charr and Ereba in ME2, yet when I found the recording Shepard just said "blue rose of illium, for some asari named Ereba"
