Evony. Those damn ads piss me off.

This. I didn't even bother with that game, but I imagined if I did it'd be something like.
"Alright, alright, let's do it... Ahh ok, it's an overhead strategy builder...Mmmkay mmkay... Hmmm, still no tits, ahh I'm sure there'll be some later on in the game, maybe like an achievement or something. Okay still no tits, I better play a while longer. Okay seriously where the fuck are my tits??!"

Woah, hold on one sec. I'm thinking I got misquoted somewhere, I've never even heard of some of those games. I hate JRPG's for one. And I'm not defending them.

Alright, alright, you might be one of the few "genuine" newer members here. By "genuine" I mean in one thread one guy was complaining about the protagonist always complaining in Infinite Undiscovery. Had he ever played the game? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Shameful. It's been a while since I played it so my memories might be clouded by rage, but the actual volleyball part of the game was nothing more than an extremely thin disguise for a wank-'em-up. There was a casino or something there, but most of the game was based around dressing up the women and then watching them on the beach like a creepy stalker. I'm only surprised they didn't give you a telephoto lens and introduce a stealth minigame where you have to hide in bushes first.

It was especially insulting because Dead or Alive is one of my favourite fighting game series, just above Street Fighter and just below Super Smash Bros.

Oh geez, Evony is top of the list. And each ad is more.....straight-forward than the last. At first it's just "hey, I'm pretty". "Don't care." "Come _play_, my lord" "Not interested" Then all of a sudden, "I'M NAKED NOW!" with that newest one I saw.

Yeah, I felt insulted that I was the target audience.

Also, Ninja Gaiden Black. I liked the game, really. It would have been even better if I could play it in public. I was worried a Rachel scene would pop up and people get the wrong impression. (unskippable cutscenes can go to HELL!)

Also, I downloaded Dungeons and Dragons Online. Then I installed it and was ready to start. Then I saw the succubus splash screen, and learned it was not the only of its kind in that game, and uninstalled it before even playing.

I'm not so desperate for entertainment that I'll play a game that's sitting there calling me a desperate knuckledragger!

I promised myself I'd leave this thread alone, but I had to say this. The thing that pisses me off the most about this heap of shit is that a lot the reviewers were saying "With such an awesome concept, how could you go wrong?" It makes me want to slap them in the face and explain (in small fucking words so they can understand,) that "it's not an awesome concept, and if you weren't mentally twelve you'd be able to fucking see that."

TNA Impact: The Game. I am a fan of TNA wrestling, and I play video games, so yeah, I was the target audience. I'm insulted, because they spent nearly 3 year making the game, and it was BAD. Yet, WWE can make a new Smackdown vs Raw game every year, and they are all GREAT. Impact 2, if it ever comes out, better be RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME.

Word. I only bought the game because I support TNA. I respect the fact they were trying to do something different, but...seriously, the first thing I thought when I played the game was, "Why didn't they just copy the formula for WWE games?" ...I guess because there would have been a lawsuit, but, still - they had a perfect model for how to make a good wrestling game and they ignored it. oO They could have even just copied the controls (as in, making them good) and I would have liked it a lot more.
