Dark Messiah: Might and magic makes you feel so brilliant and generally awesome, charge into an orc crack him in the face swivel round to kick his friend down the stairs, sweeping back round to skewer the first orc then gracefully cutting a rope to send a chandelier into the second surprised orc who's just got back on his feet.

I got confused there. I thought Dark Messiah was the FPS where you control a baby angel and that didn't go with the whole badass idea. But after looking it up that game is called Messiah and not Dark Messiah

My baddass games are Planescape: Torment and Quake Live.

[PROTOTYPE] was one of the most badass experiences of my entire life. Superpowered musclemass allowing you to shoryuken any human into a bloody pulp, yes please

Also, Ninja Gaiden II, when you have your crazy flip the f*** out combos, that you have no control over, but you're like "I just did that!!!"

It's a tie between Devil May Cry 3 and inFamous. I don't know if I prefer Dante's moves or the fact that I can kill people Emperor Palpatine style in inFamous.

Edit: Christ I forgot about God of War II! This one wins without any kind of competition.
