Games that need a HD remake.

There's so many that could be remade (and better) by using today's tech and engines. So many in fact I'll just list a handful of some I'd most want to see "HD-afied".

Mech Warrior 2
Mech Assault
Banjo Kazooie
Lode Runner Returns ('95)

Except that the team making it has changed so much about the game it's not even really going to be anything like Half-Life. They're using not one track from the original soundtrack. Altering weapons. Added new types of enemies. Changing level layouts. Adding and even removing entire map sections. They're even adding characters and changing the story.

Basically...it's not Half-Life HD. (and no, I don't consider much of what they're changing to be "improvements")

Seriously? You're like the only person on the planet that thinks RDR has the best MP. Besides, it's a third person shooter. And you must be 12 or something in order to conceive such a thought about RDR.

Jade Empire in HD would look amazing, but i'd still rather have a sequal.
Silent Hill 2, with improved lighting and fog effects it could be even scarier.
Gladius with better graphics and animations would be awesome.

Planescape: Torment with all of the cut content and certain faction storylines (like the superweapon you had the godsmen commission) fleshed out.

Guess I'll go with Parasite Eve 1&2 (with different controls on 2), Tales of Symphonia and the Abyss, the original Kingdom Hearts, SW: Republic Commando, and the Zelda games for the gameboy (both oracles and link's awakening. I'm probably in a minority that likes 2D zelda over the 3d counterparts).

You genius. As much as I love Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past was just...better. And the Oracles! It's been so long since I've played those.

We've seen Capcom give us Megaman 9 and 10, another SSFII in HD, and a Bionic Commando remake that also got a sequel, but what I want to know is where the hell is Strider?

I thought of another one though I think it needs a sequel more than a remake but anyways... Unreal Championship 2. That is such a damn fine game I can't believe it didn't get a sequel. iirc it was pretty popular back in the day as well.

Unfortounately Squere Enix shut down the fun re-make right before it's release because.....we have no idea.
