I am going to have to play Timesplitters one of these days. What system was it out on?Chibz said:.Palademon said:TimeSplitters.

For me it was the other way around. I found Morrowind really slow and clunky to play, even with 6 thousand mods installed and I hated the combat, it was such a chore.PoisonUnagi said:Playing Oblivion after Morrowind is a massive let-down... can't really think of any others at the moment.

Sweet...I own a PS2 and Gamecube so it should not be a problem. [goes to hunt down Timesplitters]Chibz said:Playstation 2, Gamecube and Xbox.MiracleOfSound said:I am going to have to play Timesplitters one of these days. What system was it out on?
LOL and school on Saturdays and the fact that I'm in high school but I live in a dorm. Now we know why they are smarter than us.....BelmontClan said:THIS. I also enjoyed the unintentional learning about Japanese culture in how it differs from ours.moretimethansense said:Persona 3 & 4, other RPGs just don't compare after you've spent a year getting to know all the charecters in non life threatening situations.
After that, all charecters seem underdeveloped.
Me: What? I have to go to school on Christmas?
Lol yeah I got that too. ME2 is, to me, the best made game of this generation.xXx5Niq3rzxXx said:IMO, Mass Effect 2 was such a great game, that when I finished it, all other games seemed to get worsse.
I played FEAR on the PS3. TERRIBLE port. The controls are fucked up (Me: WTF? R2 to shoot? R1 to throw grenades?)and you can't change them and there are too many bugs. I once died from a grenade passing through a wall after hearing "flush him out!"imperialreign said:STALKER, FEAR and Thief have absolutely ruined FPSes for me. The only reason I really purchase new titles is for the multiplayer, and even then, I won't purchase them without my friends recommendations.
I love brilliant AI. I love fights to be more of a challenge because the AI are trying to "out smart" you. I'm sick of these run&gun FPSes that keep coming out, that are boringly easy even on the hardest difficulty setting.
Have you tried Metro 2033?imperialreign said:STALKER, FEAR and Thief have absolutely ruined FPSes for me. The only reason I really purchase new titles is for the multiplayer, and even then, I won't purchase them without my friends recommendations.

I agree with every single thing you have said here. I find myself agreeing with you too often me thinks miracle. Thou readst my mind.MiracleOfSound said:Has a game ever had a feature that was so good that it somewhat ruined similar games for you due to its absence?
For example:
Playing GTA after Assassin's Creed 2 or Crackdown feels a little empty to me now due to not being able to climb and jump all over everything.
Playing any military shooter since MW2 has felt a bit dull to me as nothing has matched its amazing set-pieces and OTT action.
Playing any RPG after Fallout 3 can feel a little limiting due to narrow, small areas and less physical interaction with the world.
And Red Faction: Guerrilla ruins every other game due to not being able to DESTROY EVERYTHING.
I can reeead your miiinnnnd.....xXGeckoXx said:I agree with every single thing you have said here. I find myself agreeing with you too often me thinks miracle. Thou readst my mind.
That sucks. FEAR was buggy as hell when it was first released. TBH, there was a card inside the box instructing users to go to Monolith's website to download the first patch - which was released the game went retail on the shelf.IamSofaKingRaw said:I played FEAR on the PS3. Yeah, picked up Metro the day it was released . . . I had been watching that title for the last 4 years. It's good, in terms of story and such . . . a nice breath of fresh air amidst all the other FPSes that have come out this year. But, the AI is rather weak at times (although stealth works great).MiracleOfSound said:Have you tried Metro 2033?
The AI isn't all that amazing but it's certainly challenging and super atmospheric. Due to the games you mentioned I think you'd enjoy it.
