God of War Chains of Olympus was going all great with amazing graphics, controls and gameplay that was in the demo, unfortunately after that mindbogglingly 30 minutes of awesomeness it was down to 5 hours of slower paced more puzzle orientated levels. In another words instead of God of War 2.5 it turned into God of War Lite.

Mass Effect, definitely. It actually is good so long as you don't think of it as a game, but rather an interactive story where the interactive parts suck.
Thank You. I am tired of people telling me how great Mass Effect is. I know the story is good but I hated the repetitive side quests, dead A.I. and the poor aming system. I wouldn't complain about it so much but none of these issues were present in KotOR. Cough, Sorry.

Haze was a disapointment. I have trouble thinking of one that hasn't been listed. I really do think they could have done better with The Godfather, but at least you got to rob banks properly. Not that one time only BS that was in GTA4. (Though I did like that mission) I guess The Godfather could have been worse though.

Warioware: Smooth Moves. A short party game with no real lasting appeal. I was disapointed considering how much I liked Warioware: Touched.

4. Half Life 2: Episode 2
7. Metroid Prime 3
WAT?!

Alright Alright, anyway, it's hard to say something that hasn't been mentioned already, but I do think the king is "timeshift" (like you said) - I mean, they had SEVEN bugs left to fish out, SEVEN, and then they had to cancel it and start from scratch....

(Yet was still better polished than Haze...HAR HAR!)

I wanna add No More Heroes, there was so much unnecessary shit just thrown in there, I could have done without that stupid excuse for an Open World and doing those "jobs".
If I recall, he was doing that to make fun of unnecesary sections of open world and unreasonable level progression requirements.
I've heard that before about No More Heroes, and while it's a noble aspiration, it's a stupid idea. Having to drive around an empty world to get to my next objective does not make me think "Ha ha! Suda51, you're a genius! This is a delicious parody of sandbox games!"

My definition of parody has never meant "include X in your game, but make sure it is the possibly the worst example of X ever seen." There are much subtler ways of pointing out the foibles and hubris of game design than indulging in them.

I really can't be sure about whether something was late in development or something, but...
Devil May Cry 2.
*Audience gasps*
Oh be quiet.
Devil May Cry 2 could've been GREAT. I liked the enemies, the combat was good, but what ruined it? Dante. Dante ruined it all. He was too serious. Capcom didn't realise that people loved the first game because Dante was cocky, arrogant, and downright awesome.
They cocked up the second game by making him too serious, and the storyline... Was just eh. That could've easily been polished up to make it great frankly.

So heres a view most people I hope adopt on bioware games and how they are progressing.

KOTOR=Best of them.
Jade Empire-Nice experiment was quite good.
KOTOR2-One word, Rushed.
Mass Effect-Shit.

Sonic the Hedgehog next-gen could've been good, if EVERYTHING about it was changed.
Assassin's Creed if they got rid of the painful battle system and the sheer boredom of it all.
And an obscure one: The Lion King for Gameboy Advance if you got to play as Simba :D.

NO ONE said Alone in the Dark? Really?

No More Heroes could've been a LOT better. Everyone just loves it so much because it's one of the best Wii games out there, but that's not saying a lot. It's pretty mediocre, and could've been way more bad ass.

Red Steel also falls into the category of "should've been more bad ass and not sucked".

Mass Effect-Shit.
Knights of the Old Republic 2 wasn't actually made by Bioware, but by Obsidian Entertainment. Still didn't save the fact that it was rushed and it doesn't matter what company you are, when a game is rushed chances are a lot of things will go wrong. Also Mass Effect wasn't shit, the first time through was really awesome for me. Then of course afterwords I am just going through all the motions trying to get all the achievements etc. Still a good game and I like the fact you can kill a boss by literally talking to him to death.

Brawl could have been better with improved multiplayer. But Advent Rising, if that game wasn't plagued all to hell with glitches in like every pixel why it probably would have sold better and then they could have finished that trilogy ;_;.
Yeah forgot about that, Still mass effect was shit and the only thing it brought to the table was stupid AI, bad action.(not badass har har.), KOTOR inventory but worse. No real choices, unlike KOTOR. Terrible cliched characters for the most part.

Two worlds. all of the planned features I'd heard while reading previews were amazing-tacular! It should've killed Oblivion and made a chair out of its corpse, but in the end it came out as a sub-par "Action" RPG with ear-gratingly forced dialogue.
