Pokemon: Ruby and Sapphire.
If only they had kept the games seperate from the anime...
Well, the sequel(s) were pretty good, but R/S created a permenant scar on the series.

Games that should have been good/better but somehow failed late in developement.

1. Timeshift
2. Transformers: the movie game
3. Any Digimon game
4. Half Life 2: Episode 2
5. Clive Barker's Jericho
6. God of War: Chains of Olympus
7. Metroid Prime 3
8. Ratchet & Clank 2
I'm going to have to disagree with Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Though it was criminally short, it was a ridiculously fun roller-coaster of a game.

My choice would have to be the latest Alone in the Dark game. It just.... wasn't fun.. at all. And everything was on fire....

And Fable. I would rant about it, but it's really late and I've done that about four other times in different threads, so I won't this time.

I would have to say Army of Two because it had some great concepts just fell short of all expectations and kinda suck.

Oh and I'll have to agree with who ever said Earth:2160, I can't realy put my finger on it, I just didn't likke it.

Timeshift: It's decent but it was kind of a let down, as I expected it to be good.
Two Worlds: Another game that I played through to completion but still felt like it wasted its potential.
Kane and Lynch-Dead Men: Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but Fragile Alliance is nowhere near as fun as it should be.

Assassins Creed. Too much hype though it delivered what it said it would, it turned out to be like an annoying, repetitive desk job.
The new Kingdom Under Fire. There is only so much repetition a person can take.
GTA 4. It may be realistic but its just not fun as its predecessors.

I liked Timeshift. Gameplay was solid and online wasn't bad.

Soul Calibur 4. The single player modes are terribly lacking compared to the previous games. Only 4 modes!? Also, story mode was a joke. 5 stages? Online should've kicked ass, but there's too much lag to really have any enjoyment out of it.

Turning Point. I read a magazine article about it, and it sounded so good.

LAIR, factor 5 made one of my favourite games on N64 (Rogue Squadron) then... LAIR, god, it had so much potential and they screwed it up
