Can't disagree with anyone's choices so far...

IMHO the Heroes of Might and Magic series started to go stale around 3, the others were decent but there was just too much choice, too many sides, that it detracted from what made the first 2 so perfect. Also, 3's level editor was more prone to crashing than Vista on a Mac.

Master of Orion 3... How could someone take a game like MOO2 and actually fuck up a sequel? For that matter, same happened to Star Control 3, Twisted Metal 3, ResEvil 3... Sweet zombie Jesus, the number 3 and gaming just doesn't mix.

i refuse to accept that heroes might and magic 3 was a complete failure

If everyone hasn't realized this:

There are high chances that the fanboy wouldn't exist, nor gaming controversy if all games were 'good'.

I expected higher of Ratchet & Clank Future.

Mass Effect, definitely. It actually is good so long as you don't think of it as a game, but rather an interactive story where the interactive parts suck.
Thank You. I am tired of people telling me how great Mass Effect is. I know the story is good but I hated the repetitive side quests, dead A.I. and the poor aming system. I wouldn't complain about it so much but none of these issues were present in KotOR. Cough, Sorry.

Haze was a disapointment. I have trouble thinking of one that hasn't been listed. I really do think they could have done better with The Godfather, but at least you got to rob banks properly. Not that one time only BS that was in GTA4. (Though I did like that mission) I guess The Godfather could have been worse though.

Warioware: Smooth Moves. A short party game with no real lasting appeal. I was disapointed considering how much I liked Warioware: Touched.
So heres a view most people I hope adopt on bioware games and how they are progressing.

KOTOR=Best of them.
Jade Empire-Nice experiment was quite good.
KOTOR2-One word, Rushed.
Mass Effect-Shit.
Knights of the Old Republic 2 wasn't actually made by Bioware, but by Obsidian Entertainment. Still didn't save the fact that it was rushed and it doesn't matter what company you are, when a game is rushed chances are a lot of things will go wrong. Also Mass Effect wasn't shit, the first time through was really awesome for me. Then of course afterwords I am just going through all the motions trying to get all the achievements etc. Still a good game and I like the fact you can kill a boss by literally talking to him to death.

Brawl could have been better with improved multiplayer. But Advent Rising, if that game wasn't plagued all to hell with glitches in like every pixel why it probably would have sold better and then they could have finished that trilogy ;_;.
Yeah forgot about that, Still mass effect was shit and the only thing it brought to the table was stupid AI, bad action.(not badass har har.), KOTOR inventory but worse. No real choices, unlike KOTOR. Terrible cliched characters for the most part.
Maybe. I mean I really did try to give Mass Effect a chance but I just couldn't like it. Right around the time my characters (Who I couldn't swich to, another little thing that was in KotOR that I missed) froze up and sat there while I was being shot at I just had to stop.

Deus Ex 2 wins it.
Definitely a big one. Perfect lesson on how to take pretty much everything which was good about a game and just decide to leave it out of the sequel.

I wanted Turning Point Fall of Liberty to be good but it was shit. And Xenosaga 2-3 were bad as well and I loved the first one. And a game I want to be good is Dead Space. I've been following that comic they have on the 360 and I love it. And if the game sucks well it will ruin my halloween.

Shadowrun.

I heard there was a new Shadowrun video game. I was excited. Then I saw what they had made my beloved table top game into...

I'm going to kill every last fucker at Microsoft.

Enchanted Arms

Massive hype about the game, not only in the press and online but from my mates as well, and it promised to move away from stereotypical JRPG forms. Instead, we get the most ludicrously uselss creation system, random battles every three steps everywhere but the first level, ridiculously overpowered bosses, and a dire script straight out of the Japanese schoolkids-with-superpowers playbook. I felt robbed in mind and body.

Kane and Lynch. Made by the guys behind Hitman and Freedom Fighters, Lynch (I think) was voiced by Michael Ironside (Sam Fisher's voice) and the multiplayer mode Broken Alliance was genuinely intriguing. Someone must have decided to take an extended lunch when they were sorting out the important things, like gameplay.

I'd have to agree with Advent Rising, even with the bugs the game is quite fun, but had it been done properly it could and infact should have been so much better.
And lets not even consider the game's distribution, it took me months of searching to even locate a copy. (Netherlands) That certainly didn't help it sell.

1st person I've heard say that about Heroes 3. Usually hear its the best of the Heroes series.
I thought Heroes 3 was the best out of the series. The 4th one was absolute shit, though they sortof got it right in the 5th one.

SHADOWRUN: Shadowrun was a sandbox action rpg, formed froma table top rpg like Dungeons and dragons. The game they made is not only a spit in the face to every fan of the series and the originals, but proof that designers will willingly botch a good thing because they think they can make more money elsewhere.

Shadowrun should play like grand theft auto and saints row, NOT HALO!

Metroid Prime 2 : its just too frustrating, complicated and uninspired. They wanted to make it more like Zelda : A Link to the Past in Metroid disguise. Nothing I asked for. I hate light/dark world themes.

Metroid Prime 3 : made a lot of things better, very good game but with the boring parts on Bryyo (that make about 1/3 of the game) it cant reach Prime 1. I am glad they ended the Prime series with this one. Seems to me they realized it already peaked with the first title.

Hellgate London : the best part of this game has been the hype marketing made by Bill Roper.

Deus Ex 2 : "ololol lets make great game more stupid for consoles $$$"

Thief 3 : the biggest problem I have with it, might not be a problem for most of the user here : Thief 1+2 had a suberb german voice acting and Eidos just scratched it for part 3 like "fuck you all Fritz und Hans".

Every Panzer General game after the second one : tradet content and gameplay for ugly 3D graphics - nice one -_-°

Age of Empires 3 and Earth 2160 : are made of "why"
