good news and bad news- a remake of ocarina of time IS coming out, but its being released for the 3DS and you have to buy a whole new system :/ its a mixed blessing

Final Fantasy 8. They have pretty much remade all of them up to 6 and 7 has had loads of spin offs. Why no love for 8?

They haven't even remade 5 and 6 yet, just re-released it, whats the point of skipping to 8 (a game that has also re-released)

Take A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages and make them into one 4-part game on the Wii. Keep them top-down games like they used to be, but with Twilight Princess-level graphics and animation. It'll be awesome, and Nintendo'd make MILLIONS without having to do any work (as usual).

I swear, before E3 happened I was clamouring for a Sly Racoon remake. BUT THEN it happened. Life is good.

I only regret not calling it, like I knew I should have, and that I have to wait until at least Autumn.

The Sly Collection, huh? With almost 3 million copies sold (1: 982 000, 2: 1 208 000, 3: 764 000), I was expecting it. I don't know, I still have Sly 1, 2, and 3 (Although it appears as though my PS2's been stolen. Again. So I'll probably end up buying it.). I just wish Sucker Punch would work on Sly 4.
OT: Hm... I had a ton of fun with Psychonauts... Maybe they should remake that.

World of Warcraft. I know it isn't old enough and an expansion is coming out...but:

It was once great...now halt subscriptions for a full year, up the graphics, add voice overs, and make combat more interesting.

Now once all the addicts have detoxed...open it up again and make it the best MMO ever.

That, or remake Elder Scrolls III: Morrowwind! One of the best games I have ever played!

Why do we need remakes? The originals haven't gone anywhere, if you're suffering from that much nostalgia, go play them. Esp. since Nintendo is the only one who seems to be able to do the remake well.

If a game was good enough when it first came out then it should still be good enough.Developers should be concentrating on new games rather then remaking old stuff

The only possible exceptions would be really old PC games that can't run on newer PCs even with compatibility mode.
