Take out the multiplayer from those games and what are you left with? Not much really, but at least Reach's campaign didn't seem like only 1/3 of the design team was working on it while the rest was working on the multiplayer.henritje said:Halo and COD they use it as a excuse for a short singleplayer
That was the example I was going to use... I tried it once, I don't think I ever got it to work properly.Twaddlefish said:Anyone remember Deus Ex multiplayer? Can't remember if they actually implemented it or not.
If they do, people are gonna rage. It just... wouldn't work for the ME series, just like it didn't last for BioShock 2. BioWare don't really do MP so they'll probably just focus on Single Player.MiracleOfSound said:I heard a nasty rumour that Bioware are thinking of multiplayer for Mass Effect 3.
Please don't let it be true![]()

I'm starting to see a pattern there.AlmostLikeLife said:BioShock 2 and Uncharted 2 are the first that spring to mind. Dead Rising 2 as well. Also, I don't think that Portal 2 really needs co-op.

Uncharted 2? Really? It probably has the best third person shooter multiplayer of the current gen, and it obviously did not detract any dev attention from the Single Player campaign.AlmostLikeLife said:BioShock 2 and Uncharted 2 are the first that spring to mind.
