Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust

It's not sexy. It's not funny. It's not even interesting. It's like The Movies had a one night stand with a bad PS1 era 3D platformer and this was their mutant offspring.

I'm not usually this vindictive, but everyone responsible for this game being made should be driven out of the gaming industry as a warning to the rest. I can't think of a single good thing to say about it.

If it was made for any reason other than to be a great game (Examples: To secretly advertise a product, to secretly push a belief or faith on you, to make money off of gullible buyers) it should not have been made.

Say what you will, but COD4 revamped the standard of FPS's in 2007.

I actually really enjoyed CoD4, its just that you can't seem to say anything bad about it and MW2 around some people without being burned at the stake.

Well that's where I call bull shit. Modern Warfare 2 is the most bashed game out there. It's gotten to the point of where people are just sick of hearing about it being bashed.

I have to agree with you there. I've only played it at a friend's house, and have no strong feelings for or against it, but I'd vote to remove it if it would get everyone to shut up about it.

It's not that it wasn't a good game, to me it just felt like 'Another Final Fantasy game'; going through the motions. Then again that was awhile ago, and it's been at least four years since I've played. My views might have changed after I played the rest, but from what I remember, I didn't think it was anything special. The characters didn't do much for me, anyway, and the characters have always been the strong point of any game for me.
I know tons of people who think it was a great game, and I can't fault them for it. Just didn't do anything for me.

The first one was a solid game. Second one not so much, but I don't think it belongs in the bin of "never should have been made".

ET for one. That game is so terrible there are fables about where the copies that were never sold exist.

Drake of the 99 Dragons. By all that is good that game made me want to just quit gaming. That game is an example of how NOT to make a game.

Call of Duty 3. Only game i ever returned to the store five minutes into the game.

Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. SOOOO boring and generally not fun.

I could list and explain Halo, MW2, Gears of War, and so on, but they weren't BAD games, just unoriginal and bland. CoD3 and CaC4 were just not fun to play.

OH! And all the sports games ever. If you want to play a sport, find some buddies, buy a ball, and go the the park. WAY more entertaining than sitting in your living room and playing Madden 2569, or whatever the hell it's up to. Probably 2011.

mmm...gonna go with postal. While I respect a persons right to be..."creative", I dont think this game should have been sold, or maybe even made at all. There is just too many things wrong with the concept of the game, I mean the god freaking cat gun and the ability to piss on people. So yeah...postal...series in general.

See, I giggled at the Postal games. They were just SO over the top in their ridiculous. Seriously - a Gary Coleman boss fight? Pure win.

For me, Doom3. Just sell the damn engine already and let someone else make the games.

Bioshock 2. From what I've heard it's missing that "special something" that made Bioshock 1 so good, and from what I can tell, it seems like that special something it's missing is a goddamn SOUL.

Then you look at Bioshock Infinite. It's actually taken the time to advance the concept and gameplay.

Fuck you, Bioshock 2, you disgusting, cheap fucking cash grab, may you burn in hell for all eternity.

That video confuses me. How is he not enjoying himself when playing that? If I were in his shoes, I'd be laughing my ass of at everything, not facepalming because it's not as good as (read: the devs didn't pay GameSpot as much as) GTA4 or some other game.

OT: Rugrats Time Travelers for the Game Boy Color. Every time I play that game, I rage. I have never even passed the first level, because EVERYTHING in that game is bullshit. It's impossible.

What about games that preform poorly causing the company behind the game to go out of business and thus causing their other projects to be shut down. Projects other gamers may have been interested in. What about those games?

Had they not bothered to make that game they could have (in theory) stayed in business, finished Star Wars: Battlefront III and made some more Timesplitter games. Everyone could have been happy.

Thats not true, I really like those games but I respect your opinion if you dont like it. Doesn't mean they shouldn't have been made. That would be taking it a little far don't you think?
