System Shock 2. I love the game, but it stresses me the fuck out and works my nerves like there's no tomorrow. It also scares the shit out of me, which I'm sure is related.

Fucking S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Just knowing that at any time, an enemy can, and probably will come out of nowhere and kill me in one shot puts me on edge.

Also, "Your gun has jammed".
FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
It's so much worse in Clear Sky. What with the heat seeking grenades, the fact that a pristine assault rifle will be reduced to slag before you can finish the final mission strand or that there are so goddamn many enemies in the hospital, but that one takes the franchise to new heights of oh fuck.

Seriously though, I usually play without degradation because of this shit.

Whenever I play Call of Duty or Halo online, I tend to get pretty sweary. It's not playing against superior opponents that bothers me, it's playing with a crap-ass team whose cumulative score barely passes my individual score, because when they don't pull their weight, I get flanked all the goddamn time and can't play effectively. Seriously, last night, Black Ops: I had a ten kill streak in the first four minutes of a map I'd never played before, and it all came crashing down when attack dogs came and mauled me from out of nowhere, courtesy of my teammates who were somewhere in the neighborhood of 0-14.

I don't even plug in my mic anymore because I'm afraid of verbally assaulting someone.

I'm sure there are many others here who have played and know exactly what I'm talking about.

I lolled continuously while reading this thread.

My stress out game?
Pixeljunk: Eden for some reason. I ALWAYS miss the damned pollen. Even thinking of it makes me rage.

Demons Souls is rather stressful but, oddly enough, in a good way. Maybe I'm just a masochist?

For negative stress, it's definitely fighting games. I love them but they hate me. -_-;

Stealth missions that auto-fail if one guard spots you. I abandoned Return to Castle Wolfenstein for about 3 years because of one of them.

Timed missions in general - it's cheap fake difficulty in almost every instance. Saints Row 2's mini-games being my current annoyance, and the main reason I'm currently playing Just Cause 2 instead.
Was it the secret base mission, where you get that massive sniper rifle?
I hated that part as well...the rest is friggin brilliant, though!

Minecraft. Mostly because of the shitty ass save system that fucks me over every time it crashes. Oh, and today my house that I've spent the last 3-4 days working on, actually building it legitimately, instead of using INVedit (which is really hard when the game crashes and I lose half my stuff), burnt down. Man this has been a shitty birthday and it isn't even noon yet.
Happy birthday, I hope the day gets better for you.

OT: Black OPs multiplayer. I don't want to get into the details, but the multiplayer is rage inducing.

That's the one, yeah.

I went back to it earlier this year after being reminded of it by a thread on a similar topic, and finally beat it, after several attempts and studying walkthroughs on Youtube. That level aside though it is a good game.

Pretty much all fighting games. I can never get my head around combos. That said, I got Blazblue for xmas, because we need a good fighting game for the house, and I'm determined to master it.

Anger may ensue.

MW2, the part where you are running down a wooded hill being bombarded my mortars with 20 enemies firin at you while you try to GET TO THA CHOPPA before shepard lights you on fire. The checkpoint at that spot was ass.

Any MMO that has pvp normally will stress me out and make me feel like crap cause it is always in my head i am super awesome and can't possibly lose the people 3-5 levels above me.

Putting that aside i think the game that use to stress me out the most was Banjo Kazooie for the N64. Mostly cause of Patches's boss battle cause i had no idea what to do which was my bad.

Timers. Fuck you. There's no reason to ever include these in a game. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you.

Every single RTS that I have ever played online.

Since Command and Conquer first came out I have sucked at RTS games. But that didnt stop me from playing and getting clobbered in just about every one of them until my last go around with Company of Heroes and I said to myself "Self, maybe you are just not cut out for RTS games"

And I have not looked back since :)

There is just something about juggling economies, building a military, scouting, trying to out tech or defend a base rush and every little thing that goes into the RTS that makes me a very irritable person. And games should be enjoyable, not make me want to smash the keyboard into tiny bits.
