Assasin's Creed - I can't bring myself to hate it
Darsiders - originality: 0%. But I guess it has a small shine of personality
Fable III - Stephen Fry; 'nuff said
Dragon Age II
A Shadow's Tale (or whatever the fuck it's called in Britain)

The Simpson's games for the NES:

Controls are horrid, the levels are varying levels of unfair (Museum from Space Mutants, Ice world from Vs. The world, every level from Radioactive man.)

But, it has a LOT of nostalgia value, since it was one of the first games I have played and seen beat, never beat any of them, but saw my brother beat the Space Mutants 3 times start to finish.

More recently: Bulletstorm. Basically a semi-throwback to old run and gun shooters of the 90's before they all hit the Copy CoD button. It would be more or less perfect if they removed the regenerating health and replaced it with health packs and "Ego" (A la Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project), and got rid of the weapon limit, and enemies hiding in cover.

I just love the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously. I mean there is the part at the end, where everything is played straight, but it didn't really bother me. Could just be a coping mechanism for Gray to deal with the death he caused/is causing, but maybe I'm just looking into it too much.

A game I got for my 14th birthday by the name of Gotcha Force. Tons of fun with plenty of 'borgs' to unlock.

The whole Dynasty Warriors series. Pretty hard to defend, the combat really is just mashing X or Y until the bar fills up then pressing B to look cool, but that hasn't stopped me from loving them and picking them up usually at launch ever since 3.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness got hit with some poor reviews, and you'd think an RPG actually centred around grinding would be the worst idea ever but is another game I enjoyed immensely. Couldn't stop playing it on DS for weeks!

Also, sadly, Resonance of Fate. It is way too hard with a brick wall learning curve and completely unintuitive battle system. Enough to stop me from completing it. Which is a shame, as the aesthetic and concept are just so damn cool. Also the thought of your weapons if they actually appeared how they ended up being modified is brilliant. Of course my MP5k has an extended barrel, drum magazine, 2 scopes, a red dot sight, and 2 handgrips. Why doesn't yours?

I could name so many. I make a life of liking games no-one else did.

Dragon age 2 had a long list of problems, but I still loved it. Another would be Enslaved. I have a LOT a problems with that game, from the but by the end of the game I felt satisfied with my purchase for whatever reason.

For me, it's probably Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard:

Yeah, I know it's simple, and sloppy, and has almost NO replay value outside of achievements, but it's funny, and I had fun with it. Probably wouldn't replay it, but I don't regret beating it.

Also, I find it ironic that a game that was basically one giant Duke Nukem spoof ended up being BETTER than the actual Duke Nukem Forever game. Sort of adds another level of humor to the whole thing.

Alpha Protocol comes to mind.
Buggy AI, weird stealth movements, bosses are way too hard and the hacking/lockpicking system is hard as hell... but I still love the game!
You forgot the stupid dialogue, and convoluted plot, also the bosses are piss-easy if you use pistols, get that Deadeye slo-mo special attack and keep shooting them in the head.

But yeah, the game is so bad that its good.

The Matrix: Path Of Neo. The graphics weren't the best, and the mechanics weren't great but solid, but man IT'S THE MATRIX! It was a bit of mindless fun set in a world that I loved on film.

Unrel Tournament III. To this day I still cannot figure out why the game got so much flack. The graphics still look great, the gameplay was just as much fun as UT2k4. The only blotch on it was that they tried to shoehorn in a story mode when th tournament mode from 2k4 was just fine.

Dragon Age 2: As much as people complain I really like it. I prefer the conversation options to any other that I've played just for the "The Good, The Bad, The ponce" thing they have going.

Fable 3: Yeah it wasn't as good as the first one, what game has been or ever will be? It's still fun, loving the whole sarcastic humour Stephen Fry gives to options in the final half of the game.

Darksiders: You'd need a fricking lebotomy to think it had original ideas, I still think it was far more fun than any of the games it ripped off.

Since so many consider it a bad game, I'd say KotOR2. If not that, then Fable 2. I still love Peter Molyneux, in spite of his errors.

Playing as a Malkavian in that game for the first time is a fantastic experience I will never forget.

Clayfighters 63 1/3.

I played the heck out of it.
Me too. The moves were crazy easy to pull off and I loved the character designs, even if they looked like shit against 3D backgrounds. I was sooo hyped for that one because I loved the SNES version and Nintendo Power did like three stories on it (it got delayed and retooled and delayed and delayed). I couldn't get anyone to play it with me because to everyone else it clearly sucked. I wish I could have gotten ahold of the special rare Blockbuster edition because it had exclusive fighters and is worth some money now.

Another one that gets shit on a lot that I love was Shadows of the Empire. Floaty controls, crappy camera, hard to aim, cheap deaths.. but man did it look and sound fantastic for its time. I played that Swoop bike level like fifty times because I loved it so much. And the pulse cannon was pure badassery once you got it. And that junkyard level where you fought IG-88 scared the crap out of me.

I also liked Zelda 2 a lot, but I don't that one technically qualifies as "bad" just different. Hard and weird, but different.

Shadows of the Empire was easily in my top two favorite games from my childhood.

Marc Ecko's Getting Up, Silent Hill 4, The Godfather and Reservoir Dogs. I don't care what the majority of reviewers and critics said, these games were rather fun.

This probably will be said a hundred times, but yeah, Dynasty Warriors, specifically the Empires versions. It's a guilty pleasure, but sometimes you just wanna kill a hundred mooks with no real effort involved.

The Empires ones because I love playing dolly-dress up with my custom characters.

"Turning Point: Fall of Liberty", "Legendary" and "Naughty Bear".

I don't care if you don't like them, they all gave me hours of fun! And a cool Naughty Bear T-shirt.
