Games that the majority like but you dont!

Call of Duty. It's an OK game, but nothing really jumped out at me and said "Oh my god best game ever". The story felt horribly linear and ripped from countless war films, the multiplayer was a bit meh (I'll get flamed for this, but it just felt like battlefield with slightly different guns). The lack of physics on stuff like barrels is what pissed me off the most, I guess I'm spoiled with that playing such modern games as HL2 and CS:S. Oh no, wait...


Honestly though, this thread will get trolled and flamed to hell. Let's see how far it lasts!

Gears of goddamn homoerotic war. I seriously don't understand why people like it, the dialouge and VO is bullshit, the gameplay doesn't feel nearly as tight and fluid as the frat retards prattle on about, and the story well let's just say I'm kind a done with main characters who look, talk, and essentially act like personified monster trucks (that's only works for transformers and only in the '80's) they don't make for good drama. Anyways I've bitched long enough let the twitchers play their testosterone pressed into a disc as long as I don't have to.

Final Fantasy takes my cake, too.
I played 3-8, but I never felt like playing any of them longer then perhaps half an hour.
And that's coming from a rabid RPG fanatic.

I'd have to say Halo I don't know why but I can't seem to get into the Story or the whole setup and I've been trying, believe me. I just don't see that these games are supposed to be the holy grail of FPS on the XBOX 360.

I never liked Gears of War or its successor. I thought the story was funny at times, but the combat and cover system never really wowed me. The story went by too quick, was too linear, and the multiplayer (Aside from Horde) just wasn't good.

I also have a very small pit of hatred for fighting games. Which one? All of them, most notably Soul Caliber 4. I honestly can not believe I was suckered into not only paying 60 dollars for a 4 hour game, but reordering it as well.

Naruto: The Broken Bond surpassed all expectations by being worse than the first, which was already shit to begin with.

I did like Halo 2, and Halo 3 when it first came out, but better games soon showed me its flaws.

And finally, Butcher Bay. I don't know if there is a magical "make the game better" chip programmed into all PCs, but this game was horseshit. I couldn't play past the first 3rd without getting incredibly frustrated at the terminator level AI, which could spot me in complete darkness without a flashlight, and would proceed to kill me in less time than it took me to aim my gun at their power-armored torsos.

Dude i kept on getting annoyed, For example in a normal FPS you just keep on moving forward, in half life you go into anouther room turn a valve go back and AGGH no map so i kept backtracking cuase if uv seen one gritty pipe youve seen them all

I was immensely dissapointed by Fallout 3 and Oblivion. So many people think one or both games are amongst the best ever. I can't for the life of me see whats so good about either. One of them is piss easy even on very hard, and the other has combat system that sucks the immersion right out of the experience.

Little big planet. The gameplay was fine but it was just so childish. I'd have loved a more Tim Burtonesque take on it in terms of graphics. Then again this one is my own fault. I knew what I was getting when I bought it, but it made me realise what could have been.

Thanks for quoting. TO answer your question, no, it doesn't make me like it less if you dislike it. However, when someone else likes something I don't, I tend to want some form of explanation as to what they like about it. I guess I assume everyone does. If it doesn't matter to you, then by all means, I'll stop.
