Burnout Paradise. I just rented it because I really loved the original three but that one felt like a cock-slap. It has no structure or, reason behind it and, takes place in an eerie city inhabited only by vehicles. The music sucks too with no way to control what you listen to...remember Tony Hawk's Underground [or was it proving ground] where you could edit the soundtrack to play the songs only you wanted to hear? That was one of my favorite features of that game and I'm surprised it hasn't taken.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. It was an ugly game that I couldn't get into mainly because of the gawd-awful controls...

Dead to Rights: Retribution: It would have been a sweet beat-em-up...but it didn't want to be a beat-em-up...and every other word is 'fuck'. I must be getting old when I consider profanity a bad thing!

GTA Vice City: not even the butt-rock radio station could make that game enjoyable.

and for the next two, I'm putting on my flame-retardant suit.

HALO
MW2

If you think I am "trying to be cool", you can eat a bowl of shit. I honestly hated both of these games within five minutes of first playing them.
When you say Halo, do you mean all of them, 1, 2, 3, ODST, or the Reach Beta? I'm going out on a limb and guessing 3, which isn't nearly as good as all the others. If you never played H1, try it.
The single player campaigns in Halo 1 & 2 were actually pretty decent. Halo 3 was where the single player campaigns were cut in exchange back on for the multiplayer experience. Sure, they're not the best games in the world but the first two Halo games were quite competent if not exceptional.

to be honest l4d2 I loved l4d and sure it got a little boring at first so I thought alright this game was awesome I'm gonna get l4d2. The moment I start playing it I noticed something. It's the same game with slightly different monsters and characters in New Orleans.

To clarify a few things I'm a die-hard valve fan boy I love their games. I just have to say that l4d2 was a huge disappointment it felt like a halo 3 sure its a great game it repeated the strategy and added a few things but that is it, it's a repeat.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The online, at least.
The campaign was okay, but when I went for five minutes online not being able to shoot at anyone on account of already being dead, let alone kill someone, made me decide it wasn't for me.

I've never made this judgement in five minutes, but:
Star Ocean 2.
Crisis Core
Halo 3 (not an fps fan)
Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
FFXII (a special case. I hate the early game, but after Raithwall's tomb it gets better.)

EDIT
I take back what I said about the "five minutes" thing:
Superman 64. I couldn't play that thing, It's not that I wouldn't, I couldn't! Thanks to the internet, I know I wasn't alone and possibly handicapped.

inFamous - what a steamy pile of dog turds. It looked nice but was far too repetitive and annoying. Especially since every enemy weapon seems like a sniper rifle.

Halo 3/ODST - I think there has been enough discussion on this here :D

MW2 - horrible, just horrible. Rubbish single player and the multiplayer was ruined by overkill perks.

Assassins Creed 2 - way too repetitive, I just lost interest about half way through.

Fable 2 - dull, dull, dull.
