The flashbacks don't sound like a half-bad idea, I'd enjoy that quite a bit.

Probably, but I found Zombieland to be insanely close to L4D.popdafoo said:Left 4 Dead would make a killer movie. Especially if they do it like they did with the opening cutscene.
You know, I hear people compare the two but really I saw it twice and never found the comparison. I mean, the poster and the fact that there were four were similar, but not much else. That's just me, though. I'm talking like an official movie made by Valve.Primee133 said:Probably, but I found Zombieland to be insanely close to L4D.
On topic, I think Advent Rising, and its cancelled sequels. The storyline was being written by a novelist, after all.
I know, it would be fun, what with the special infected. It would just be a question of if it was a movie of the first game, second, or a whole new setting with new people.popdafoo said:You know, I hear people compare the two but really I saw it twice and never found the comparison. Well I was thinking like an expansion of the first cutscene. It was only about 5 minutes long and if they kept on going it could make a great movie. And make transitions from level to level. Then make a sequel movie involving the sequel characters and setting. Valve is actually really good with that, as they've proven with Meet the Spy, so I know many people who would gladly pay 10 bucks to go see a movie made by Valve.Primee133 said:I know, it would be fun, what with the special infected. One would assume that would be counter-productive. Kojima chose video games because he saw them as a way to tell cinematic stories. He could have very well brought Metal Gear to the world via film if he wanted to.MelasZepheos said:Metal Gear Solid. There is a Dead Space film, granted its an anime film but its still awesome. Not that expensive either.Flos said:Assassin's Creed would be a fun movie.
I have my heart set on a Dead Space film. Or System Shock. Really, System Shock 2 would be great if they managed to pull it off.
Yeah, yeah. I know 'Pandorum' is basically Dead Space/System Shock but I want a reaaaal one. /whine

It would essentially be something like, "YO DAWG I HEARD YOU LIKED MOVIES SO I PUT A CINEMATIC GAME IN YO MOVIE SO YOU CAN WATCH CUTSCENES WHILE YOU WATCH CUTSCENES."
