Battlefield Bad Company would make an awesome movie. Also the searchbar would be a sucessful movie. I would like a better Halo movie also.
You ever seen Kelly's Heros it's a World War 2 movie with the exact same plot but replace Russian Mercenaries with Nazis.

Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 1+2=Epic Movie

I still haven't finished the second one but the first one would definitely make an awesome movie.
Prototype could make a good movie but it's hard to think of how they would have to do it to make it awesome.

None, they're different story telling mediums, I mean if a movie was made with a different storyline and characters that still closely followed the world of the games it might work. But games were meant to be played, movies were meant to be watched, thats why crossovers have high fail rates.

actually it would be like a rip-off of starship troopers
If I heard you correctly, you favour starship troopers over Halo? If yes, U R AWESOME. If no, at least you know the movie.

First of all I will pick out the differences of SST and Halo.

SST: Elephant sized, OP killer bugs.
Halo: Human sized, technology loving, religious killer xenos.

Sounds different right?

SST: WAY different armour from the book, fail armour and basic helmets. (DAM MOVIE. THE BOOK'S ONES WERE WAY BETTER)
Halo: Better armour, stronger armour and better helmets.

Yes, it is different. Of course the concept of extinction is a common concept for Sci-Fi movies and games alike.

So no, it won't be a rip-off. Star Craft? Hell yes. Minus the Protoss coz in the movie there are no skinnies. ( Start googling peoples!)

Thats what I think.

Yay, someone else who read the book!
I still say they need a game version based off of the book, that power-armor sounds kick-ass.

Besides my obvious choice I'd say Assassin's Creed, those live-action promos for ACII were awesome.

I don't think any games could ever become good movies without being stupid. However Metal Gear Solid 4 might as well be a movie.

Yes, the AWESOME book is read by very few. A game of Starship Troopers with the movie bugs and book humans= WIN GAME.

There has been a FPS already but it would be average for me.

Tell that to Hideo Kojima or to any JRPG developer. They seem to be under the impression that "interactive" means sticking a quick-time event into a cutscene so players don't just pop off for lunch while they're running.
