Wow...I know I have played more than this

You know, I have to say, it's like you posted a list of my favorite games, excepting WoW. I respect your opinion, and I am sure I dislike some game you enjoy, but I have to ask what you found bad in Portal, Halflife 2, and especially SotC, which I found to be an incredibly rich and powerful experience, as well as a fun game, which is no easy accomplishment. Was the gameplay not compelling enough, or the story too scant, or the environments too empty? I can't really think of any faults, save for occaisonal difficult spots.

Portal just wasn't fun. I love puzzle games. But portal isn't good.
Half life-It's story was ehh at best. And it's vehicles controls were bad. Overhyped and loved here, I gave it a shot in both Xbox 360 and PC and hated both
SotC-I'm still wondering why people loved it. I found it very boring

There are a lot of games I've played that I can't get into, but I finish the single player anyway. Games like Halo 3, Mass Effect (there are some things I love about this game, though), Fallout 3, Oblivion, Red Faction... But there is one game I just can't play at all for some reason; Gears of War. I've come back to this game like 5 times, and I just can't get through 10 minutes of it.

I also heavily dislike any JRPG, and most Hack 'n' Slash games. And I hate PGR3. And any overrated game.

battlefield bad company 2, was a major disapointment. My friends said it was the best game ever. the campaign was god awful, boring rip off of COD:MW and the online matches where the same old laggy shit that lasted about an hour. played it for a day, sold it the next day.

I think that one thing alot of people forget, is that games can be really amazing, but only in one style of play. If you don't like that style of gaming then idk if it really counts to post every game of that type.

Oblivion! Most people will admit it's flaws but confess they love it anyway. I just can't get over how many design mistakes people will let slide because...why? I don't know. The story isn't that good, and several main features of the game just failed. Like LEVELING. Je ne comprenede pas! The only thing I liked was the intro - that was fantastic. But it was all downhill once I left the sewer...

Portal. It had great game play, and the environments were beautiful, but I found the puzzles to be less than exciting for some reason; kind of a grind, even.

Well I don't like Final Fantasy VII as much as a lot of people, but I still like it so I guess that doesn't count. I also like Final Fantasy VIII more, by the way, but maybe because it was my first Final Fantasy. Also, if I wasn't as much of a nerd as I was/am, I probably would've been something of an emo at that time; my emo traits were second only to my nerd traits, I think.

I know there are some people who really like Final Fantasy X. I don't think that one's nearly as good as any of the previous ones that I've played (which is most of them). I still like it though. I can't think of anything that really fits the description...

I don't think Ocarina of Time is quite as good as everyone says it is...

Pretty much everything in the Orange Box. TF2 isn't that bad a game, it's just difficult for someone like me who likes to play single-player games. When I do play multi-player, I like to be in the same room with the people.

Battlefield 2. The game is so aggravating. My friends all assure me that its one of the best games. But all it does is piss me off. Outside of infantry combat. You either feel ripped off, or too easy.

It was hard for me to get into Twilight Princess. I guess I can't say it was a bad game by any means, but to me it just didn't live up to the hype that people gave it.
