oh... oH! yeah. I didnt think about that since I got the True ending. But I remembered playing through again to get all the endings and yeah that was sad.

Also, Chihiro made me feel love, mainly cause she reminded me so much of my first girlfriend.
And in P4 when:
Saki Konishi died
It destroyed Yosuke Hanamura and was sincerely sad for how short she was in the game.

Mass Effect 1 filled me with awe at the epicness of the ending.

Mass Effect 2 had one major moment of sadness for me, namely the Horizon encounter with Ashley. I had seriously grown to like her in Mass Effect 1 and I was actually literally physically saddened to see her go. The email she sent later helped a bit but still....
Dude, i hear you, on both points. With Ashley I was like, "* whiny and pleading* But... we like... and... Aw, shit. Ash."

It happened again when Tali got crushed by a giant beam at the end of the game cuz i was a douche and lost her loyalty...

So, i guess, what i'm trying to say is: props to Bioware for making me care about my team. Do no disappoint me with ME3.

The only time I think I ever felt emotion is when playing FF:tactics and one of my characters died really made me feel sad knowing I couldn't bring him back.

Half-life 2 Spoilers!!!

Could've made a spoiler tag but I'm lazy, I felt helpless and angry when Eli was killed at the end of Episode 2. Valve did their job on that one. And it always feel good to finish a Mass Effect.

Hold on a sec, didn't you also post on that "Is it weird to fancy a game character?" thread?
Because I remember some posting the game for that exact reason.

Hey man, it ain't that creepy, right? I mean I remembered that you posted about Chihiro and your first girlfriend, and I said I liked Chie more or less for the same reason you brought up Chihiro. Oh wait, that just kinda makes us both creepy.

The text based stories in Lost Odyssey did it for me, they were just so beatifully written and I felt so sorry for Kaim. Also the ending of Eternal Sonata was pretty good too.

Nah, doesnt make us creepy. well, not really. XD We just enjoy the Persona series, and find them to be emotional games.
Thank you, for putting everything in perspective. I learned about myself just now. Now, if you'll excuse me, there's someone I have to confront:

Once in Melty Blood: Act Cadenza I couldn't beat a particular character in Arcade mode. When I finally managed to I threw my joystick across the room and started roaring.

It kind of worried me at the time, because I thought I had a better grip on my emotions than that.

Playing pretty much any of the Halo games fills me with this warm happy feeling that I can't describe, it's like I'm comfortable and almost at home with myself when I'm playing it.
I, too, get that feeling, but only when playing Halo CE and Halo 3.

OT: I'm thinking back to the first game that made me emotional was Bushido Blade 2.

<spoiler=Shainto Clan's ending moral choice>While playing as the Shainto group, you reach the real leader of the Narukagami clan, she does not fight you,a nd you are left with the choice to either strike down this defenseless young woman or leave. To strike her down is to give into the hate, to say the Shainto are the greatest clan and will not compromise, to say you will only be war like. To leave is to turn your back on your clan's mission, the endless years of war and violence as well as those of your clan who were killed in the violence. Not to mention those who loved the clan members lost in the war. However it also means you are forgive the Narukagami, to say you will not have this war continue should the Shainto somehow once again rise.
Video compilation (starts at 3:43, its hard to find the scene itself alone):
<youtube=Wd4m1c9Y77s>
It was the first game I knew that made you look at yourself and think, will I kill and continue the hate, or spare and forgive. Also, she (the Narukagami) is defenseless, presenting herself, accepting her fate, leaving only the player to decide the actions.

Plus, I always liked her, since she was so accepting, and doesnt make the motion to hurt you. This game came out when i was yougner, so it was like a mother/older sister character. I spared her each time except once, just to see what happened. I probably ruined the spoiler, but out well.

Like many others Mass Effect 2. But unlike many others, no the ending, specifically.

No, what made me well up with emotion........was kissing Tali.
just....do you Realize what it must feel like to be trapped inside a suit and never feel the touch of any organic being for your ENTIRE life? And she communicated this agony so perfectly that, when i finally DID manage to open her mask and kiss her, it was amazing.
so what if we didn't rub our crotches like i could've with Miranda? It was worth it to give this lovable being her first and maybe ONLY kiss. (The hilariosuly awkward sex advice from Mordin is a must-see btw ;P)

And then in the Suicide mission, i had the choice of sending either Legion or Tali into the vents. so, being protective, and thinking that her fever might make her weak. i sent Legion......and he was shot before my very eyes. and while that made me very sad, because i loved that guy (and later found out that if i had taken the time to research his sniper, he could've lived) I couldn't help thinking that i was ONE decision away from making Tali's first kiss with Shepard her last. And i was glad i had made the decision i did.

Also, Tali's response after the mission is just comedic gold!

So whoever says that Bioware is NOT the best RPG maker on the planet....can go F$%K themselves!

Heavy Rain. The Bear Trial.

That's the only time I've ever been struck with genuine fear in a game. Not even Amnesia: The Dark Descent made me fear for my life the way the Bear Trial did. I've never held on to a controller so hard in my life.

Valkyria Chronicles, where the two main characters [i forgot the names, been a while since i played it lol] treat the wounded enemy soldier who then dies and they bury.
