Started playing Catherine today, and I have to say, personally I think it belongs on this list. The puzzles, while interesting, are definitely overly designed to just be frustrating. Add to that the snore story and the incredibly disgusting main character that I just want to SLAP every single time he ever opens (or refuses to open) his idiot mouth. Yea, I'm at this point just finishing it for the sake of seeing the end (currently working my way thru night 7)

I'll be glad to say I'm done with this one and give it back to my friend.

L.A. Noire was a bit boring, which is sad, because I really liked the concept. I kept waiting for a story to pop up, but all the murders had nothing to do with each other (at least not until the last fifth of the game).

Crackdown
Alien Vs Predator
Rainbow Six Vegas 1
Halo 3/ODST
Fable 2
Bioshock
Assasin's Creed 1 and 2
Oblivion

Out of that list, Crackdown is the worst. Seriously that game blew. HARD.

Castlevania IV was really boring and ugly.
It was so slow and I just don't see why everyone loves it.

Mass Effect.

Yeah, I said it. I could not get into that game.

Silent Hill Homecoming is another. I tried so hard to like it, but I just wasn't having fun.

Fallout 3 was too open for me to get into, and I just lost interest.

Final fantasy 13 comes to mind. Seriously, 6 hours in and pretty much nothing had happened.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

I would have to go with New Vegas. It was a good game, but the atmosphere and enviornment just wasn't as compelling as Fallout 3's. Also, the story was lacking a bit.

You Died.
Go Find killer.
Found Killer, Kill Killer.
Get Chip.
Yay. Now What? (*Where I stopped playing*)

Disgaea was like this for me. I didn't play past the first 20-30 minutes because of all that trudge.

The Witcher. I like most RPGs but I couldn't help agreeing with every point Yahtzee made in his review of it.

Fallout 3's is worse:
Hey your father disappeared, get the fuck out of this vault.
Find Dad, Dad dies.
Go turn on the reactor.
You Die.
Roll end credits.
(Yes, I know that you don't die in the expansions)

Halo: ODST just didn't do anything for me. Cinematics were awesome, but everything in between was just so dull that I never finished it.

Lost Odyssey - all the memories were well written, but there was just SO MUCH reading, just to tell the backstory of a centuries-old man with the personality of printer paper.

Also, if you think, MGS 4 was bad, lemme tell you that MGS2 was far, far worse. No, I don't care if it's this blond pretty boy's dating anniversary, or how nice New York looks when it's not buried underneath an enormous robot with bowels! First, I want to play as Snake, and then I want to shoot soldiers in the eye with tranquilizer darts. Is that so much to ask?

Uncharted 2 with its insanely linear platforming where only one thing was climbable and arena style shoot outs.

Too Human, finding any motivation, other than trying to get your money's worth (and that still wasn't enough for me), to continue playing that game seems impossible.
