Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2.

honestly NVN isnt as good as people say it is, mainly it is boring. The Combat system may be traditional, but that just means its realy realy realy boring.
The Story isnt as epic as it would like to be and generaly speaking both are pretty darn boring...
oh yeah not to mention the "romances"...

Oblivion, left it after a few hours.

Fallout, always felt like a chore.

Dragon Age, MY GOD that game is dull.

Kingdom Hearts 2. Bad flow, awful story, fucked up aesthetics.

Metroid 3: Corruption. Incredibly boring and samey and back-tracky. (only Metroid game I've ever played.)

Alter Echo. Awesome concept, bad execution. (I got it for $2 so... no loss)

Hmmm, thats all I can think of at the moment.

I downloaded the demo of Bodycount today, finished it and basically forgot about it 10 minutes later. Another game that comes to mind is Final Fantasy 7, it just seems you spend way too much time in Midgar at the beginning, so when I finally got outside I just couldn't be bothered to carry on playing it.

So many to be honest. Short list of what comes to mind.

Oblivion.
Every Final Fantasy game I've played.
Farcry 2.
Fallout 3(though I'm loving New Vegas.)
F.E.A.R 1 and 2.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Just the ones the come to mind right away, there's more. Most generally RPG's.

Off the top of my head, Far Cry 2, Aquaria and anything ever produced by Bethesda.
FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa, I'm just kidding, we have differing opinions on Bethesda's products. Sorry, I picked up oblivion and after I got into it I was just...."gah, awesome!" Then I tried morrowind and appreciated oblivion even more!

OT: Mass effect. The first one. The combat was so bad....and I just hated running in circles around that city with quests I wanted to do but was just not motivated enough. I hoped to do something involving those big, brown quadrupeds, though. Coolest race ever. Other than argonians, of course. Hahaha.

And borderlands. I like it, but it can only be played in short bursts. Recently I had I borderlands burst, in which I play borderlands for a week or two, get into it, and then drop it. Wait another year and I'll play it again. And did I mention I was nagged into playing it by my friend? Who loves this game? And the fact it went for a second playthrough, how half-assed. I only did it because I'm a completionist, and am quite fond of leveling up. Hence why I enjoy most RPGs.

And half-life 2, another case of bursts of motivation. Like a fad. I play it, like it. Then drop it. Screw that for a few months, wait till I'm bored again. "I guess I'll just play Fallout....or oblivion?"

And I never finished portal 1. It's not...bad....it's just not particularly motivating for me. My attention span is too short for puzzle games. I've played portal 2 multiplayer, though. It's adorable. But I just don't enjoy puzzles when I don't have action mixed in with them. I like a change of pace sometimes. Like if oblivion had puzzles, I'd welcome that fact. In fact, there is a few, I'm sure.

Call of Duty Black Ops:
I liked Modern Warfare 2 enough, but man this one had horrible map design (they were also all very small) and boring weapons. The kill streak nerfing also killed much of the excitement and incentive in playing the game.

Zelda the Phantom Hourglass:
I am a diehard Zelda fan and this was the first one I ever played that I couldn't finish, let alone stomach.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3:
Removing all the complexity from a fighting game to make it accessible is a horrible idea. It's the complexity that makes fighting games interesting. Freaking context sensitive buttons is the worst thing I have ever seen in a capcom fighting game. No matter how many times I played it, it just seemed random because of that crap, and I couldn't get into it, not even a little. The vs. series is my favorite fighting series, to :(

Half Life 2:
I actually fell asleep playing this game. Aside form Ravenholm, this game was a snoozer. The first Half Life was so neat and foreboding. Every corner had a weird scene or tripping new critter waiting to try and eat you. #2 was more a military shooter with some added color. I consider this game the prime example of why we can't have nice things anymore.

Far Cry 2:
Never have I played such an expansive game.... that had absolutely nothing in it. The removal of split screen also assured me and my buds couldn't even have any fun with the map maker. I have never seen a game try so hard to not be fun.

I found GTA4 was pretty dull. I finished it recently and it was decent, decent enough for me to be happy I played it all, but since I've finished it I haven't touched it.

No More Heroes 2. All the mini games and continuous boss battles just made it boring as hell for me.

The Witcher (don't hurt me!). It was the combat. That silly combat. I got past the hell-dogs and through the sewer, then just went 'screw this' and stopped.

Portal (which is really funny because I absolutely loved Portal 2. I get why Portal is a good game and why it deserves the praise it gets...but the puzzles weren't enough to keep me interested. The games was paced pretty damn slow for about 90% of the time so I ended up dropping it)

Garry's mod played it for 10 min before i just gave up from boredom. I really have no clue how people can play that game and say its fun.

Halo 3

Dull story, characters, graphics, enemies, weaponry... Just dull. Not bad, but completely soulless.

Completed the first mission, and had no desire to play it again.

Didn't much like MW2, but I ended up completing the campaign. So it couldn't have been as bad. But it was still nothing new.
