I' a massive Bioware fanboy, but out of all their games Baldur's Gate is my favourite. When any new Bioware game (or RPG for that matter) comes out I inevitably compare it to BG2 and it inevitably is deemed inferior. Even when the comparison makes no sense, for example comparing it to mass Effect 2, I feel the need to ***** about how superior BG2 is.

The Pokémon series. Sure, it's cutesy and Black & White versions have proved the basic formula will never, ever change, but sitting down with a cup of tea to train up my Machamp for the Elite Four is an afternoon well-spent.

I will also valiantly defend the Philips CD-i until my death. It's the games console I grew up with and I effing loved it, shite graphics and all.

Multiplayer based: CounterStrike 1.6 and Source
Singleplayer storyline: Tales of.. series *hides*
Others: Pokemon, Elder Scrolls (Morrowind + Oblivion), Legend of Zelda, and Mass Effect 1+2

This is exactly why I try to repress my fan-boy-ness.....
